“The cupcakes are amazing but I go for the cinnamon rolls. Those are extraordinary. I also got my birthday cake from here. I forgot to give them an image of what I'd been thinking so I don't blame them at all for it being off from what I'd imagined, but it was adorable and more importantly, it was delicious. I recommend this place as often as possible.”

“The place for bagels in Tacoma! We come to pick up 2 bagel sands each time we visit from Honolulu! Bagels are well made, fillings are generous and flavors are on spot. Only issue? There's always a line so go early on a weekday. Line's part of the charm I guess and the place has tons of personality!Parking: Go early for parking and no line.”

“There are a number of good choices for fish and other seafood on the Tacoma waterfront, and Duke's may be the best, if you are looking for good water views, an informal atmosphere and friendly, well-informed service. It's a bit pricey, but no more than its competition, and the quality of the food is consistently high. And there is a range of prices. The cod is first-rate -- it doesn't have to be salmon or halibut. Note that there are very limited options for vegetarians and vegans. Also note that these folks do a very nice business, even on Mondays. The good news is that, unlike some of their competition, they take reservations for small parties. Reservations are strongly recommended.”

“Shockingly good. I was legitimately surprised by the quality, especially considering the reasonable prices. The coffee was actually good too! Easiest five star ever.Note that they do run out of biscuits at some point everyday. If they do, I'd suggest grabbing cheesecake at the least as it was also fantastic!Will absolutely go again!”

“Very delicious! I had the butter chicken momo, and jhol chicken momo. Both were so good, and different, I couldn't decide which ones I liked more! I bought both so I could have leftovers for lunch today, and I let the ones I got with the jhol sit in the soup overnight, and man they were incredible! I love this food! “Arrived Friday morning for our 11:30am reservation and were seated soon after our arrival. Interior is clean and we were seated near the gas fireplace which was nice on a cold rainy day in March. Service was friendly and our server did a very good job anticipating our needs before asking such as refills on my Coke Zero – yes, they serve Coke Zero here!Wild Seafood Sampler served with three different sauces was good but quite pricey and in retrospect, we would have both been just as satisfied if we had just placed one order for the Wild Hand-cut Calamari and split it.The Wild Seafood Linguine Alfredo was served hot and was very rich and quite tasty; however, I was quite surprised to find it topped with wilted basil leaves that were obviously not fresh. The Wild Alaskan Halibut with mushroom risotto was also tasty; however, again we should have just ordered one of these Lunch Entrees and would have been quite satisfied.With tip, our $151 lunch for two with just one beer and a coke zero was quite pricey but both the service and food were very good. If we feel like having a very nice but spendy lunch, we will return.”

“This is the best Italian food I have ever had and I have been to Italy many, many times. Absolutely superb. Melt in your mouth gnocchi with a delicious beef ragu sauce, rib eye with gorgonzola sauce, desserts were glorious, tiramisu and lemon cello gelato. Wine choices were very good. Excellent service. Make a reservation! only 9 tables.”

“Walking into this establishment was like entering a portal into a cozy little cafe and it was really peaceful. The service was excellent and the staff was super sweet. I got the shoyu shrimp ramen and it was excellent. Will definitely return. Thanks to the staff!”

“Cactus was an amazing surprise! I come from Texas where the TexMex is abundant and I didn’t expect to find some familiar flavors up here in Washington! The spicy mango michelada was refreshing and the birria tacos and fajitas were great! Whenever I come back to visit, I’ll be sure to stop by Cactus!”

“Some of the best cider in WA. No food but amazing on tap cider. Try the dark cherry mixed with vanilla bean. It is amazing. If you ate there in the fall the Chai cider is incredible.”

“Not really impressed with hot dogs. Tiny dog on a nice bun with lots of salad or bean type toppings. They are reasonably priced though. The sausages are much more substantial and a nicer flavor than a plain frankfurter. The dirty nachos was also a pass for me. I don’t really like too much salad on my nachos For me, the best part is the beer selection/prices and atmosphere. If they added a pool table…I might hangout there too much.”

“I have to prelude this review by saying I am a breakfast snob. I have rarely (maybe one other time) thought to myself after having breakfast at a restaurant "wow that was amazing, I couldn't have done it better" but I make some pretty amazing breakfasts. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! There was a huge line when we got there but it was so worth the wait. We had the blueberry pancakes which come with 2 eggs and bacon and the chicken fried steak which comes with your choice of sausage or chorizo gravy, 2 eggs, hashbrowns and toast. The food was so good we could stop eating and the waitress and host were so so nice. “One of our favorite spots in Tacoma. Great food every time! We usually go for breakfast on the weekend, we went for dinner the first time yesterday. The Prime Rib Dip was delicious. Additionally, Our server Michelle was super friendly and helpful.”
