“We have loved this building for now four generations of our family coming here. The current proprietor makes delicious food and pours her heart and skills into every scratch recipe. Today, we were well taken care of as we celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday in their outdoor dining space. Everyone loved their food, enjoyed friendly & attentive service, and enjoyed many “memory lane” conversations about coming to The Bair (and Mom working part-time here back in the day). “This was truly a great find, definitely a diamond in the rough. I didn’t expect such a welcoming restaurant. It looked busy when we walked in, but it went fast. From the time we walked in, we were greeted and asked if this was our first time in the restaurant. They told us how things worked and focused on the customer. They were very kind, not normally seen in restaurants these days. Very good hospitality. Ambiance was nice.

The menu isn’t so complicated and has fewer items on the menu to make it not confusing. The one item we wanted,they ran out, but gave us a sampler for next time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.”

“Excellent place that exemplifies quaint. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff and customers. The Cortado has great flavor of a good roast with freshness. Cool vibe with acceptance and congeniality.
Bagels are excellento. Great flavor and exceptional bacon and pastrami.
And the staff just seem like they fit here naturally. Like they’re grounded and friendly. Must visit if you want a fresh bagel, tasty sandwich, well roasted coffee and nice people.”

“My family and I had an exceptional experience on 6/20 for lunch. The food was the best Italian cuisine that we have had outside of Italy. The chef/owner is from Campagna, and his passion for Italian culture and cuisine shines in each bite we took. The service was impeccable as well.

“It's been a while since I reviewed Side Piece Kitchen and I wanted to share that they have consistently have been superb each visit. I got really excited for the last week of August's specials as they were nostalgia blasts featuring dirt cup cheesecakes and teriyaki dippers which were my favorite thing to get in my school lunches. I had to practically beg my boyfriend to go and eventually just told him that they had a cosmic brownie cheesecake and he started telling me to get ready to go.

We had an event to go to at 11am and arrived around 9:30-40amish and there was a line out the door but the staff here are always on point in ensuring there isn't too long of wait that we were efficient on time and able to dine in (we were ready to eat on the way up). The food was absolutely delicious, never had a bad experience here. I absolutely loved the presentation of the lunch meal and the teriyaki dippers were fantastic. My friend tried the Baca and said it was fantastic too! I also love that they have a fun T-shirt design contest and look forward to seeing the top three best designs. It's incredible how these guys are always able to come up with amazing specials, friendly service, and offer just great vibes with each visit. I feel like we visit them at least once a month, and honestly if I could I would try to come every week. We appreciate that they have a dog friendly patio. As a long time supporter of Side Piece Kitchen, I am so glad they are local, supportive of the community and small businesses, serve truly some of the best food in the country, and are just overall amazing people.”

“This was my first time visiting this place as well as the cafe/bakery next door. It's a small grocery store full of authentic German food products. Their bread was so good!!! I definitely plan on coming back for more pretzels.
