“This place is catered towards Longshoreman and truckers. What does that mean? 24/7 HOT FOOD! That also means that it's a little off the beaten path. Strangely enough, Tacoma doesn't have many 24/7 joints, so this place is an absolute gem!”

The tenders are hot and crispy, the wings pack legit flavor, and the dipping sauces actually feel curated, not generic. Add fries, toast, and a blue raspberry poweraide drink, and you’ve got a combo that just hits right — every time.

Even during the lunchtime rush, service stays efficient and the seating stays open. It’s the kind of place that understands soldiers and travelers want comfort food without the wait or fuss. Slim Chickens nails it.”

“We got there 8 mins before opening and there was already a line of people out the door. That being said, line still went by fast. Employees were kind and helpful.
I’ve heard some people say that the bagels were tougher than they expected but we had the opposite. Our bagels were the perfect texture and were hot. I ordered the Hot To Go with Rosemary Salt bagel and my husband ordered a Plain Bagel with Cinnamon Sugar Cream Cheese. Both bagels were insanely good. They do not skimp on the filling.
If we lived in WA this would definitely be a regular spot for us. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back again next time we visit.”

“This was truly a great find, definitely a diamond in the rough. I didn’t expect such a welcoming restaurant. It looked busy when we walked in, but it went fast. From the time we walked in, we were greeted and asked if this was our first time in the restaurant. They told us how things worked and focused on the customer. They were very kind, not normally seen in restaurants these days. Very good hospitality. Ambiance was nice.

The menu isn’t so complicated and has fewer items on the menu to make it not confusing. The one item we wanted,they ran out, but gave us a sampler for next time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.”

“This is a very trendy and popular breakfast place. There was a line the whole time we dined in so be sure to come early! I tried the agua fresca watermelon drink, avocado toast, and latke hashbrown. The hashbrown was a bit salty but was still super yummy with the dipping sauces. The I had a cheese biscuit as the base to my avocado toast and it was really good! Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. The 70s interior was fun and definitely made for a 21 or older crowd.”

I had been at T.G for hrs sitting with a friend. Needed to eat. I knew this was a cash or check only business. Completely spaced. Saw the sign as soon as I walked in. So I ask the gentlemen (i have seen there many times) where the nearest ATM is?
He says... oh dont worry about it. Let's get you fed and you can come back and pay us later.. This just isn't how our world works anymore. Let alone in Tacoma... Thank you soooo much but I want to get some cash to pay for my lunch. I go down the block grab some cash and head back! Big shout out to Infinite Soups. Not only is the food amazing the people are amazing too!!”
