We have loved this building for now four generations of our family coming here. The current proprietor makes delicious food and pours her heart and skills into every scratch recipe.

Sara hosted our family Christmas party, and served us a wonderful meal in a very well decorated holiday environment. Much appreciation to her and her helper Kyle for making the evening memorable for us.
This place is our favorite breakfast restaurant to go to in town! It's so sad that we finally found a place to our liking and then we have to move out of state :(. If we ever come back to Washington State this would be the place to to go to! Great service great atmosphere and the food is awesome! I will surely miss this restaurant here in Steilacoom!

The Bair, located in a historic drug store and post office, offers a unique dining experience. Known for their Sunday brunch, customers can enjoy a variety of dishes such as Italian soda, caramel waffles, House Corned Beef Hash, and Meaty Pete Scramble. The staff are noted for their attentiveness and friendliness, with many praising the excellent lattes and the personable owner. The atmosphere reflects an antique bistro and soda fountain, with antiques and nostalgic decor throughout the restaurant, creating a relaxing vibe. The establishment is conveniently situated near a view of the sound. The service is efficient, and the menu includes high-quality ingredients like real butter and house-made jam. It’s a great place for a low-key breakfast for two or a family gathering, offering a friendly environment that both adults and children enjoy, especially with areas featuring games and kids' toys. The food, from the salmon lox omelet to the bacon and breakfast dishes, is consistently praised for its flavor and quality. The historic setting and welcoming staff make The Bair a popular choice for those seeking a charming and enjoyable dining experience.
