“Stopped in for the famous fried 1/2 chicken and it is delish! Took a while but worth the wait, it's a one person bar service. They have been there since the 1800s! Full bar, small and cozy place with a small pool table. Lots of locals here.Not a favorable place for the little ones. There is no disabled access.”

Oh my it is the best I have ever had. Whatever they do to get the Chocolate to dissolve completely is nothing short of magic.It is very smooth, just the right temperature on a cold day, and they don't skimp on the Chocolate.Keep in mind that I have tried Starbucks and Gravity Coffee... This really puts them to shame.They are also very friendly, they seem to know the area quite well, AND it is on the main drag. It is close to other restaurants, the Rodeo grounds are within walking distance, and the 4th of July parade is literally right across the street!You have gotta give the Hot Chocolate a try!”

“This Subway location was very clean! Usually I avoid going to ANY Subway because the places are either too crowded, no place to sit, food prep area is messy, tables are dirty and workers that make you feel rushed to order. But this location was so nice! the employee working was very friendly, the food prep area was very clean, all the toppings were covered, he was patient with my daughter who was ordering her own sandwich for the first time and he was nice enough to explain how people Usually order and she ended up with a sandwich she would enjoy eating since she is such a picky eater. “I just moved to the area and was excited to find a pizza place nearby with gluten free options. Not only do they have the option, but it doesn't appear that they charge extra for it like most places do. They were friendly and quick and the pizza was delicious. Will definitely be my go-to pizza place.”

“We went in without a reservation and although they were busy, we were greeted and welcomed. Staff sat us and served us exceptional customer service. we were checked on, informed of specials and tables cleared after every serving in a timely fashion. There is a large parking space just beside the property. Everything from the appetizer and starters to the dessert was delicious. We enjoyed the warm, cozy atmosphere both inside and outside of the restaurant. we left this establishment feeling full but not heavy. I understand why it would be super busy on such a rainy day. Definitely would return through a storm.”

“Went for a good meal after visiting Mt. Rainer national park and this place was a good fit for the hamburger cravings, excellent spot highly recommend. “I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for over 6 years and the Raspberry Truffle (now known as Berry Truffle) never disappoints me. They even shave dried raspberry on top to finish it off. A Family owned place with everything made in house (including growing their own coffee beans), this place has been a staple for me in the south Tacoma area. Do NOT sleep!”

“The only reason why this place was not getting 5 stars is because the chips and pico were absolutely disgusting, like we almost left. The pico was dry and flaky and very sour, and the chips were cold and overly fried.BUT my husband's burger was amazing, and those were the best shrimp tacos I've ever had!!The service was great. Our waitresses was very nice. She felt awful for the chips and compted us with some nice dessert. She really didn't have to do that, but it was a really nice surprise. She was awesome!”

My partner and I have fallen in love with this amazing truck and their food. We recommend their food to everyone we know. We will def keep coming back.Parking: They share a parking lot with King Cronic. So the parking fluctuates. However I have never seen a true parking shortage there unless there's an event”

“Called in a to-go order this evening and the gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and hospitable. Told me it would be ready in 10 minutes, so I showed up 10 minutes later and sure enough it was ready to go. The woman who rang me up was also very friendly and hospitable, and the food was so dang good. I ordered a 5 taco platter, lengua, and it was the first time I’ve had lengua in WA state that I’ve enjoyed. Tender, cooked perfectly, amazing flavor. My wife ordered the green enchilada burrito and I accidentally spilled some of the delicious sauce they pour over it so I was able to taste that, too, and that was delicious as well. The rice and beans were much better than what you’ll get at an average Mexican spot around here. The pork tamales were flavorful and just a tad dry, which wasn’t a problem when eating them with the delicious salsas they provide upon request. Their lemonade was good, horchata was really good.All in all I spent ~$56 with tip, which seems pretty standard nowadays. Long gone are the prices I’m used to for taquerias in Houston, Texas, but I’m stoked to know that we have someplace local to go for the flavor and hospitality that I grew accustomed to in the south. Highly recommend!Parking: Park out in front of the gas station or go through the drive thru—they’re located in the back-left corner of the building.”
