Absolutely love their plant based menu. Langston is an incredible chef using his ingenuity to create jackfruit recipes that will satisfy everyone. Most of his recipes use organic ingredients, and you can taste the compassion that he puts into each meal. American Jacks earns and deserves continued support. Delicious
Cruising home to Bellingham from the Olympic Peninsula we decided to try to find a vegan-friendly restaurant in Olympia. We were a little dubious when we walked into the VFW, but this place did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the chef/owner was incredibly friendly. The food took a while to come out but it was worth the wait. Two of the three members of our party are not vegetarian/vegan but we loved our dishes (I enjoyed the vegetarian BBQ Mac and cheese). Listen if you ever thought about giving this place a try let this be your sign! My family and I loved this restaurant. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, atmosphere amazing just wonderful. The cook was very accommodating of our strict diet and went out of their way to modify menu options. 10 out of 10, I highly recommend

The chef is friendly and accommodating of strict diets, going out of their way to modify menu options and create things for dietary restrictions that can't be found anywhere else, affordably so. The food takes a while but is worth the wait. Favorite meals include the vegetarian BBQ Mac and cheese, vegan nachos, vegan tacos, vegan mac and cheese, the American Jacks Burger and the mermaid lemonade. The restaurant offers a variety of other dietary options including gluten free, non-inflammatory and sugar free. An app lets customers earn points towards free food. Takeout and dine-in are both available, with plenty of seating room and parking. The atmosphere and service are wonderful, earning a 10 out of 10 and 5/5 stars.
