“Cousin Jon hasn't been to a Herfy's Burger since the one he went to in woodland California 50 years ago during the bicentennial and here he is 50 years later. They used to have wacky Burger box kids meals that came with a small ice cream cone. The service here was excellent and very catering!!!“

“It was my first time ordering and coming to Vans burger.

Ordered a chocolate milk shake, a burger and two order of fries. The burger was so big that I was able to share it with my daughter.
Shake was in a small cup.
Microphone is a bit old so you hard to speak a little louder and clear for them to capture your order.

Please be nice to the people working here, the time I went it was super busy and someone behind me was being a bit rude to them. The lady at the window who takes the payment is also the same person who is taking down the orders.

“We always sit in the bar and we always receive great service. I want to call out that Matt handled a really rude customer on 12/2/24 with calmness and kindness. There was a mixup regarding checks with the neighboring table and she had her salad comped, but she didn't understand why. He explained multiple times (who complains that their meal is being comped???!) until he finally said he needed to keep moving to help other diners, and her dining partner actually raised her voice and cursed at him. He should be commended. Our meal was fantastic, steak cooked perfectly, service quick, and sides all correct and accounted for.“

“This tavern is a gem. The food is cooked with care and you can tell when you get it. The brussel sprouts are a huge hit at any time. I tried a "special" called the CodFather yesterday with a hand battered piece of cod, topped with fresh sliced pastrami and some cheese on a slathering of coleslaw on a bun. It absolutely works!“

“Ordered meatloaf dinner and a double bacon burger. The burger was good, a little messy though. Bun stayed fresh, not soggy. Tots were delicious and crispy. Website says dinners come with choice of potato and a green salad or soup. I ordered salad. Says nothing about a roll on the menu but was asked if we wanted a roll for the meatloaf while ordering takeout, we said yes. Never got the roll. The salad, I asked for no tomatoes, it came as lettuce mix with red cabbage and carrots and shredded cheese, I was surprised that’s all it came with, but it was fine, overall. The meatloaf came with a very small scoop of mashed potatoes and zucchini, much to my surprise, and a lot of meatloaf. The menu mentioned nothing about two sides/a vegetable. The quality of ground beef used in the meatloaf was not good. Lots of huge pieces of gristle found and I only ate one piece of it so far. Also, I would have rather had two scoops of mashed potatoes if I had known they gave me so little instead of having an additional side. I’ve only eaten about 1/3 of them, the scoop was like 3 inches wide, maybe? The zucchini was okay, very wet, and unexpected, as mentioned. I’d like to try their breakfast to see if it’s better.

Edit: As promised, I returned for breakfast. Everything was fantastic for breakfast. Their sausage gravy is so good. It’s hard to find good sausage gravy. Eggs were great. They offer sourdough as a toast option, which I always love. Bumping all stars up to 4!“

“What you (can't) blame Red Robin for is how busy they are! Well price; but $1 garbage is still garbage. I love the Endless Fries and yes sometimes you have to wait. It would take a Fryer the size of a twin bed to never wait. Service has been awesome so far. Going back Sunday.“

“Food is pretty good, I wish they had more deli sandwich type choices. I had the California chicken salad and instead of avocados I was given guacamole and very small pieces of chicken. Rather expensive for a salad but it is a pleasant atmosphere and the wait staff and manager were very friendly.“

The location was clean, but the building feels like it is due for a bit of remodeling and modernization.
