“Everything here — everything — is divine and fabulous even for those who aren’t strictly vegan. I’m prompted to write today because I got one of my favorites to go two days ago — the bagel and “lox” — and had the first half yesterday and the second today. Incredibly still delicious after two days in the fridge. Kudos to you all.💕“

“the owls nest (Owl House as my brain likes to remember it) has wonderful pastries and food options. their drinks are balanced and well made. the atmosphere matches the Olympia vibe really well and I feel very comfortable here. it's not too loud, but it's not so quiet that I feel like everyone can hear me talking with my friends either. great cafe to sit and talk or do my own thing at.“

“It was my husbands birthday, and he choose this restaurant. WOW!! This place is so nice!! Perfect seating, perfect service, perfect food and the most perfect desert.. This classy restaurant is a much need face life for Olympia.. So glad we went!“

“The food was absolutely incredible and authentic. Literally the best food Ive ever had. The pork dumpling soup is to die for I couldnt stop eating it. They also have little kimchi side dishes. I had to order a box of the cucumber kimchi home because I couldnt get enough of it. We walked in with about 8 people and they happily seated us and even thanked us warmly the food came out so fast but it was hot and fresh. The bubble tea was also very well made.

If you are looking for a great restaurant in Olympia for Pizza or other Italian fare, give this place a try. Kyle was our server and he deserves all the accolades in the world for taking care of our table of 7 tonight. Great place and an amazing outing!“

Sat with a friend for coffee and gossip, and it felt like the whole room could hear our convo even we were talking quietly. The pastries are great as well! Oh, and they make coffee! “This is our go-to local Thai place. One of the owners, Noy is very friendly and very quickly remembered our order and preferences, including a peanut allergy and being knowledgeable about vegan options/adaptations. The tom kha soup here is one of our favorites from anywhere, and we usually also rotate between the pad see ew & massaman curry. The bok choy garlic is a stand out appetizer. Place is very clean as well.“

“Just visited tonight and as always, loved the food and service! Super sweet waitresses and delicious food. I ordered the beef teriyaki bento box and a plate of crab rangoons. My friend ordered the beef bulgolgi. We were both surprised at the fast service and generous portions. It's not often that my friend and I get to go out to eat, but I'm so glad that we chose koibito 🤤“

“I had the best experience here. Service was 20/10 and food came out so quick. This is hands down the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to since moving to Washington 3 years ago. All the food was amazing, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and our server was Mayu and Kate — I had the perfect experience here. Highly recommend!!“

“We always sit in the bar and we always receive great service. I want to call out that Matt handled a really rude customer on 12/2/24 with calmness and kindness. There was a mixup regarding checks with the neighboring table and she had her salad comped, but she didn't understand why. He explained multiple times (who complains that their meal is being comped???!) until he finally said he needed to keep moving to help other diners, and her dining partner actually raised her voice and cursed at him. He should be commended. Our meal was fantastic, steak cooked perfectly, service quick, and sides all correct and accounted for.“

“Terrific Drink“

“I travel a lot for work. I make it to the Pacific Northwest a few times a year and I base myself out of Olympia. My first stop is always the Cascadia Grill. It is above place with a homey, back woods feel. Nice people, good beer, and great food. I had a plan for the week. Tonight’s special wrecked everything. Mediterranean spiced Coho salmon, grilled. Served over top some of the best risotto I have ever had: saffron, caper, fresh tomato, celery, capers, parm, garlic, and white wine/chicken stock/butter. I consider the six grilled shrimp a throw in. If you ever make it to Olympia, this needs to be your first stop.“

“I totally recommend Dirty Dave's for their pizza and sandwiches... HOWEVER they have changed their 1000 island salad dressing and I 10 out of 10 DO NOT recommend... They used to have the BEST and now it's WORST...“

“Food A+ perfectly cooked generous 12oz NY steak & Blackened rockfish! Flavor excellent on all sides. Server A+, this was our first visit and Victoria helped with all our questions like family. After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.“

“If you like your pizza burnt, this is the place to be. Sadly our pizza was too burnt to enjoy. Tasted like a charred stick in the fire pit. I did have fond memories of actually liking their pizza throughout the years. We ordered 2, the kids devoured the pepperoni pizza as it seemed perfectly cooked. As for the burnt basil pizza… is going to the chickens 😢“

“Love this place. I don't understand how quiet it always is when we go. Hands down the best thai food in olympia and lacey. All the others just don't compare . Me and my wife go once a week. Some of my wifes coworkers go atleast once a week for lunch. The food is awesome.pineapple curry and pork thai fried rice is my fave. The pad thai is tasty too.“

“Charlie's came to our rescue when we needed to watch an NCAA volleyball match while we were away from our home! Not only did they put a bunch of TV's onto our match, but after everyone else left, they offered to turn the sound on. Amazing! The food was tasty bar food and the service was exceptional. I'd go back!“

“I ordered nothing but sides and HOLY CATS they were excellent! The fried cauliflower was perfectly crispy and flavorful; the baba ganoush (sp?) was the best combo of chunky and smooth; and the dolma was addictive. I will dream of this place!“

“We buy at least 2 or 3 new teas every time we go in. The service is really amazing and they always have a recommendation for whatever our needs are. They even have some new flavors every time we go in so it never feels stale. The candies are a bit expensive, but such a nice treat and a good price for the quality that you get.“

“The plates are way too small. My food was falling off my plate and onto the table. I looked around, and most people had the same problem. Why would they use such small plates and have your food falling on the table? Other than that the food is great, but you lose a lot on to the table. Service was also a little slow.“

“My husband and I just wanted to have their soup & salad this time because usually we leave uncomfortably full because their food is so good. So good! And we always have gotten very good waitresses or waiters. They have all been very kind and they usually check on you often, even if you just get their refillable soup and salad.“

Sat at the bar, ordered a dirty martini from Tyler. He did the usual follow up. I told him, long day, just chilling, keep the glass full, and I’ll let you know the rest. He understood the assignment. “My all time favorite restaurant. (And I’m a foodie). The yakisoba is wonderful, love the green grin vegan roll and the vegetarian roll. The unsweetened black tea is spectacular (and they’re not giving out the recipe). They are so kind and welcoming. The owner takes such pride in his sushi- he is an artist and the flavors are complex and delicious!“

“There's only one El Sarape left in town so we decided to try it. It is not only freshened up outside, it is beautiful inside. The menu is not as extensive as it once was but the food was excellent. Kevin had the Carne Asada Fries and I had Chicken Nachos. UPDATE when I saw the menu I thought "oh, another El Sarape gone modern like the one that used to be on Capitol in Tumwater" But this was different, both the interior and the food still had that mexican food appeal...in an upscale way. The salsa was not saturated with store bought hot sauce or taste tinny like canned tomatoes. And the food was fresh and tasty and did not need to be smothered with salsa for flavor. And for dessert we had the churro with ice cream. And again, I was impressed! I'm pretty sure the ice cream was home made, along with the warm crispy churro, so tender. Then there was the small amount of caramel sauce. We didn't need more, it was rich and thick and creamy and tasted of rum. To top it all off, the bill was less than $60. Now that's hard to find these days, especially with quality food. And the staff was warm and friendly.“
