“Everything here — everything — is divine and fabulous even for those who aren’t strictly vegan. I’m prompted to write today because I got one of my favorites to go two days ago — the bagel and “lox” — and had the first half yesterday and the second today. Incredibly still delicious after two days in the fridge. Kudos to you all.💕“

“the owls nest (Owl House as my brain likes to remember it) has wonderful pastries and food options. their drinks are balanced and well made. the atmosphere matches the Olympia vibe really well and I feel very comfortable here. it's not too loud, but it's not so quiet that I feel like everyone can hear me talking with my friends either. great cafe to sit and talk or do my own thing at.“

“The rice bowls are so good! We got the fried chicken and beef bulgogi rice bowls as well as a bibimbap bowl. Everything was super delicious and there was also a sufficient amount if vegetables. The lady working there was super nice and friendly too! We got take out and it took around ten minutes.“

After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.“

“Just visited tonight and as always, loved the food and service! Super sweet waitresses and delicious food. I ordered the beef teriyaki bento box and a plate of crab rangoons. My friend ordered the beef bulgolgi. We were both surprised at the fast service and generous portions. It's not often that my friend and I get to go out to eat, but I'm so glad that we chose koibito 🤤“

“We always sit in the bar and we always receive great service. I want to call out that Matt handled a really rude customer on 12/2/24 with calmness and kindness. There was a mixup regarding checks with the neighboring table and she had her salad comped, but she didn't understand why. He explained multiple times (who complains that their meal is being comped???!) until he finally said he needed to keep moving to help other diners, and her dining partner actually raised her voice and cursed at him. He should be commended. Our meal was fantastic, steak cooked perfectly, service quick, and sides all correct and accounted for.“

“Good atmosphere there! Great service! But the quality of the food and the price they charge for it are completely disproportionate. (For example, the fries were over cooked, so our son doesn’t even touch them, sorry the quality of photo is awful).“

“We are new to WA and was excited to try out this place, but the pizza was disappointing. We ordered the giant Bulldog and it was BURNT. Not a nice crispy, but a disgusting, every bite we took, burnt pizza. For as much as we paid for it, we were super bummed.“

“Probably the best Pad Thai I’ve had - and I’ve had a LOT! Flavor was perfect, noodles and egg and chicken were all perfectly flavored and cooked! Ginger stir fry was also good! The Tom Kha wasn’t my favorite, but everything else was excellent! 🥰“

“The Japanese don't get the credit they are due. What happened today, April 19th, was more influential to me than the Imperial Japanese Navy was to Pearl Harbor. I am officially and permanently switching my loyalty; from here on out, every time I think of sushi, it will be with sheer delight and the knowledge that Aya Sushi is the only place for me.
​Other spots in the area are okay, and frankly, I wasn't always Aya's biggest fan - but after today, I realize they reign supreme.

In this County and all neighboring counties - Nothing else even comes close. From the taste and price to the presentation, this is the gold standard. Going anywhere else for sushi is just a mistake.

Between the food and the amazing customer service, listen up: this is the only place to go.

“The plates are way too small. My food was falling off my plate and onto the table. I looked around, and most people had the same problem. Why would they use such small plates and have your food falling on the table? Other than that the food is great, but you lose a lot on to the table. Service was also a little slow.“

But let’s talk about our server she was polite professional and quick , literally we didn’t have to ask for anything because she kept popping back up to pour more water take dishes check in to make sure everything was up to par and I’m super impressed and happy. Coming to an establishment Friday night after 8:45pm and being provided excellent service.
Teri is a people person ,enjoys and takes pride in her service. The Manger on duty I didn’t catch her name but she was also nice and knew Teri was amazing! Literally I’ll be calling to be seated in her section when we come back!! This melts my heart seeing people working jobs they actually enjoy and take pride in the service they provide. “The food was good, and served within 5-10 minutes. The people were friendly and answered my questions about the food with no problem.
Since it is downtown Olympia, the parking is either on the street, and then walk up to the food truck, or a small amount of parking is available in the lot. There are outdoor picnic benches to eat at, but there is considerable noise due to location.
But food was juicy and its served to go style so can be taken to some other location“
