“This place always serves premium sushi. We discovered this place located in downtown Olympia about a year ago. It's become my kids and one of my favorite sushi stops for those tasty sushi rolls. They have a wide variety of specials and different promotions on on high quality fish of the day. They also serve your other favorite Japanese cuisines and lunches or dinners.“
“Look no further...this is the place for you! Koibito is our go to for Japanese food. Not only is it owned and operated by Japanese folks, it has all the flavors that remind me of my childhood. I usually get their combo with udon and tempura. It reminds me of a little restaurant that my mom would take me to in Albany, CA called Sugata's that was taken over by a Chinese family. The art of making the sushi rice is something that an individual in Japan take years and years and years to get right. These arts and disciplines are lost to people wanting to make $$ off a culture, without the training and skills to do it. This place still has it, and if you have a chance to enjoy it before it too changes I would get there as much as you can bc it is simply delightful and amazing.“
“Out of all the sushi options in Olympia, I think Sushi House is the best.Good place for a date night, or weeknight meal with the family. We ordered the miso soup with California roll and dragon roll. Everything was delicious. We also got to check out this burning duck dish across the restaurant that sounded really good for next time. My kid got a kick out of the spectacle of it.Service was attentive and unobtrusive. Warm, friendly.Decor isn't overly trendy, but it didn't feel dated either. They were welcoming to my kid. Parking was plentiful.Accessible too.“
“I had the Unagidon with my mom who ordered the dinner bento with salmon. It is a nice quiet place but the hall and rain could have been keeping people away. Their featured rolls are usually the way to go but the kamikaze roll is fun too but we also had the golden tiger. Good ambience for family or if entertaining business folk. Nice lighting for a date or anniversary.“
“DJ/KJJoy is worth coming back for every Wednesday and Thursday. The regular kJ trained her well. With tonight being her first night as KJ, I was pleasantly surprised. I had the best time, especially considering I was going to a bar by myself for the first time in decades.. Karaoke by myself too and I felt awesome.“
“My husband and I decided to stop in today. It was a cute, hole in the wall. We got sushi and qyoza. The sushi was absolutely delicious with very fresh ingredients. Probably one of the best sushi places we have tried. The qyoza was perfectly crispy with that perfect amount of feeling. The only reason I gave it a four star was because of the aesthetics. Business needs a small makeover to give it that Japanese feeling, and some background music. Currently reminds me of a country kitchen, giving amazing Japanese food. Weird mix! Food is totally worth it. Will be back! ?“
“Best sushi in Thurston County. My partner and I ate a lot of different nagiri. The scallops, tuna, eel were all amazing. Tried one of the vegan rolls and the caterpillar roll as well (we can eat a lot of sushi). Service was quick and friendly. We're out in West Olympia, worth the drive. Will be back.“
“Been coming here for like 2 years now, feels time to give a review... this is definitely my favorite restaurant. The chicken teriyaki is my go-to, and it never misses. Best in the area, easily. Delicious food, great portions, fair prices. Sushi rolls are perfect! The staff is especially friendly, every time. I get takeout here so often that they're already bringing me my food by the time I walk in the door... too funny! Would give this place 6 stars if I could.“
“After many drive byes we made it in. What a unique space, a very different vibe, and kinda uplifting, if that makes sense. The gyoza was steamy and tasty and the sushi burrito was unexpectedly bright and full of flavor. Nice vibe and a constant stream of patrons flowing in.“
“First time ordering here and I must say, it wasn’t what I expected but it was still pretty good.Customer service here was unmatched though.. I placed an order through Google and it was ready in 15 mins. The host (and I’m guessing a manager) were very kind when remedying my order after a mistake and even sent me on my way with an extra treat. I look forward to going here again.“
“HEAVENLY ~~ Is the word to describe their new Tumwater Roll. Deep fried with cream cheese and crab meat, topped with spicy tune and green onion. I have enjoyed sushi for four decades. And once in a blue moon you get the opportunity to experience a new roll that just wows you. For me this is it. Piled high with the spicy tuna. This establishment is clean and the wait staff has a great smile and people skills. Great sushi. We also had their Crazy Spicy Roll. Very good as well.Parking: Easy in easy outKid-friendliness: Kids welcomeWheelchair accessibility: ADA accessible“
“Fantastic lunch happy hours specials! Delicious food. We sat at the bar, and our server/bartender was really great in all areas. Attentive but not annoying, and she did a great job with making recommendations and advising clearly what was on the happy hour specials and what wasn't.Everything we ordered was great! I loved the tuna sashimi and tempura vegetables the most. Gyoza were also great!“
“I always love coming here to eat. The food is amazing. The sushi is the bomb I recommend having a Salmon Tiger nigiri. This time around I tried a new food item called row row row your bowl which has three different types of roe, tuna, seaweed salad and rice . You mix it up and eat it and boy it’s it yummy! I also like the my pork bulgogi its cooked to perfection.next time I go in I’m gonna try the pho.“
