“Decent conveyor-belt sushi spot in Pyuallup! The restaurant is spacious and clean, with cheerful decoration. The sushi menu is limited with nigiri options (only the very basic), they do have a wider variety of rolls. For the nigiri, the rice is too much, the sashimi is nice-size cut. With less rice in each piece we’d be able to enjoy more plates. There are now hot items on the belt and many choices for kids too.“

“I used to come here almost every day when I worked across the river bridge in Fife, I would come when they had the two old guys back in the mid 2010's and their sushi is the greatest sushi in the world. I've never had better sushi in my life. It completely changed my perspective on sushi and they have always done an elite job on their products. “Went here when I was in town for a comedy show. Wasn't really impressed with the amount of food for the cost. We got a teriyaki plate and Gyoza. You get one scope of rice and a bunch of teriyaki strips and a big pile of cabbage. For me I am not a cabbage fan. If it was the normal salad that would have been good, but it was steamed cabbage. The chicken was good, but the ratio of rice and chicken was a letdown. The Gyozas we got were crunchy and seemed over cooked or like they were cooked from being over frozen. They didn't taste very fresh. Overall, the chicken was good, but my rating is based on the price vs what you get.“

“Absolutely phenomenal sushi experience!
Everything from the moment we walked in was perfect. The staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The fish was unbelievably fresh—melt-in-your-mouth good—and every roll was beautifully prepared with great balance and flavor.

The presentation was stunning and even the small details—like the quality of the soy sauce and the perfectly seasoned rice—showed how much care goes into their food. We tried several specialty rolls, and every single one was a hit. The roll were a little on the smaller side but made up for it with the taste. Definitely quality over quantity.

The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and relaxing, making it a great place for both a casual night out and a more special occasion. This is easily some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time.

“I’ve been eating here for a while and will always come back to Oki Japan whenever I shop at the mall or would just like to grab a quick lunch. They have the best teriyaki in town and never fail to make your food fresh and mouthwatering! the chef will happily give you extra sauce if asked and the girls behind the counter are always friendly and patient.“

“I came in with my two girls, and immediately the two women working were so incredibly sweet and kind to my little girls and myself. Not sure if they were sisters/owners? But customer service was so great. The food is amazing and they even snuck in some egg rolls for the girls! I never leave reviews but this place was so inviting, and extremely clean.
