The omakase experience is where Sushi Kuma really shines. Not only is the price amazing for what you get, but the sheer abundance and variety make it feel like a full culinary journey. I’m used to the traditional omakase style where you’re served piece by piece, but here it felt so much more thoughtful and generous. There were starters, appetizers, beautifully prepared sashimi, a wide selection of nigiri and sushi, incredible entrées, and even dessert to finish things off. I decided to try it anyway. When I walked in, I was pleased to see(and smell) the place was incredibly clean. I was seated by friendly staff right away. I got a bento box and a hand roll. “I used to come here almost every day when I worked across the river bridge in Fife, I would come when they had the two old guys back in the mid 2010's and their sushi is the greatest sushi in the world. I've never had better sushi in my life. It completely changed my perspective on sushi and they have always done an elite job on their products. The food is delicious and the portions are absolutely massive. Thank you so much happy teriyaki for feeding our group for lunch, what a great restaurant and group of people!!“

“I guess me and my husband found our new go to Teriyaki place. The vibe here is so nice and chill plus for my kpop fans, that’s all they play!

The portions are large and worth the price. It’s such a hole in the wall and totally worth trying out.

“My buddy E-Dawg, a rapper from Seattle loves teriyaki chicken and brought me here about 15 years ago. He said they have a bunch of them, but this is the best one. Well, I haven't been to the others. I just keep coming back to Happy Teriyaki #4 and every time it's delicious. The people are nice too. Great place with good food & good prices. I'll be back everytime.“

“I take my daughter here she likes the moving selection of sushi in every kind you shape and form. There is also a menu for your selection of all items if you want what on menu is more then just sushi. There food is really good so far... staff is great the chefs communicate with you very nice place.“

Everything from the moment we walked in was perfect. The staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The fish was unbelievably fresh—melt-in-your-mouth good—and every roll was beautifully prepared with great balance and flavor.

The presentation was stunning and even the small details—like the quality of the soy sauce and the perfectly seasoned rice—showed how much care goes into their food. We tried several specialty rolls, and every single one was a hit. The roll were a little on the smaller side but made up for it with the taste. Definitely quality over quantity.

The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and relaxing, making it a great place for both a casual night out and a more special occasion. This is easily some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time.

“Love this place, taste, portion sizes, ladies at the counter are all amazing. I do have an issue with my shrimp fried rice I ordered last night. Again, container full of yummy rice but only 3 shrimp placed on top. This is not shrimp fried rice, this is rice with a garnishment. It was a let down for sure and luckily doesn't happen often.“
