I decided to try it anyway. When I walked in, I was pleased to see(and smell) the place was incredibly clean. I was seated by friendly staff right away. I got a bento box and a hand roll. Both were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this hidden gem.“

“Kura is always a fun experience! The revolving sushi makes trying different rolls and small plates easy, and everything we had was fresh and tasty. The touchscreen ordering system is simple to use, and the service was quick and friendly.

The best part is the interactive experience. Watching the plates go by, trying new things, and earning prizes by returning your plates makes dinner a little more fun than your average sushi spot.

The atmosphere can get a little busy and loud, especially during peak hours, but that’s part of the energy of the place. If you’re looking for good sushi at a reasonable price and a fun dining experience, Kura is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back!“

“Our favorite place now! My order: Unagi (nigiri), Vegetable Tempura, Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special. Dad's oder: Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special and 5 order of maguro to go. The unagi was the best i have had in over 10 years. The tempura was light, crunchy and flavorful. My Dad is very particular about food and I am known to order the same item over and over. I have been trying different things and pleased with each one here. Everything was as good as it could possibly be. So happy!“

The bento box combos were surprisingly filling and a great value for the amount of food included. I especially loved the California rolls, and the teriyaki was flavorful and cooked perfectly.

“1st let me say..had food twice, once from order service and other in person. Both times the service and food were great! The manager is very nice and respectful along with the staff. The funny differences from other sushi restaurants are the fact you have to order everything by QR code ( so if you want a mobile device free night..not gonna happen) and your order comes via a robot! Now that I found funny because I kept on despite directions from the “robot waitress” trying to take food from the other shelves until I got used to things. Speaking on getting “used to”..try maybe 1 or 2 times order something small to get used to how the quantities are served. My friend meant to only get 2 of something and ended up with 3 and I had to eat the extra 1 for respect of the dining rules “whatever is left when you are done you must pay for”. Now the “all you can eat” bit. Please understand that the food here is really good and that they offer quite a unique variety of items to try and eat. That is the meaning of the “all you can eat” here. This is not a legit “all you can eat” restaurant . For $30 you are getting way good quality..so do you want good quality or high quantity? In this tight market you can’t really get both. So please be mindful & respectful of this. They do sadly have techniques to let you know when you are reaching “their” maximum..and after much thought…I can respect that. Overall the food, service and everything else was excellent. I ate mostly the sashimi which I thought tasted fresh and buttery when needed to be and when ate rolls I had the rolls that were cooked and those were handled expertly. My friends had the coconut shrimp which was the favorite for them and such like items. One said the ribs were tough and the fried rice was too hard. Overall I will return and be more “menu venturing “ knowing that there is actually a limit. Again..out of respect, please respect quality over quantity.“

“As someone from Hawaii who’s accustomed to Michelin-rated Japanese cuisine, I have high standards when it comes to sushi—and Sake Sushi & Grill absolutely delivered! I ordered the Chirashi (Sashimi Salad), and my husband had the Sushi Bento. Both dishes were outstanding. The sushi rice was a standout—perfectly cooked and seasoned, which is rare to find even at well-known spots. The selection of sashimi was exceptionally fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. You could taste the care and quality in every bite. My husband couldn’t stop raving about his Sushi Bento dinner, and we both agreed: Sake Sushi & Grill has officially become our new favorite. If I could give it a Michelin rating, I would—hands down. We can’t wait to return!“

“Celebrated our anniversary at Kyoto. We made a reservation, but there was no wait — promptly greeted. Sandy’s service and recommendations were *exceptional* and the omakase was divine. The specialty rolls were wonderfully balanced and nuanced. Best unagi I’ve had in a while! They were out of a few fringe items, but had alternatives. Lastly, the menu is competitively priced for this caliber of quality in the area — any local steakhouse would’ve cost $100 more for a lesser experience and product. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Ordered the Chicken Teriyaki comes with rice & lettuce salad. The Beef Yakisoba was delicious comes with (1) scoop of rice. Overall the cost is affordable compared to other places. The service was friendly & fast too. I will definitely go back.“

“Loved the food! On our first trip, we had one of the suchi options, Chulichi shrimp, the ceviche trio, and mango margaritas. All of them were excellent, subtly spiced, and simply delicious. “Located in the entrance to Dupont. The Good_ Really good terioki and yakisobi. Other yakisobi places only give you like 3,4 or possibly 5 pieces of shrimp in your meal. I was pleasantly surprised to find i had at LEAST 10. a plus!
The negative. _Quite expensive! We got 1 dish of Terioki, 1 dish of Yakisobi plus 2 orders (4) egg rolls, NO drinks, NO other extras and our bill was nearly $50. Yes_it was delicious but I question the price tag.“

“Was looking for good chinese food nearby, came across this place, it may be served simply but it is deliciously served. Panda express cannot compare to this restaurant. I regretted going to panda express, their chow mein tasted like stove top, same as their egg rolls tasted like stuffing in a box. This place gives high quality food at decent prices. And is very friendly for customer service, pretty sure he is the owner but him and i talked about good food for a minute, and i saw his menu and asked about the crabmeat salad. So delicious as well. Stop by this place for a real experience and delicious food. You should give it a shot if in the area.

“I've been reviewing places across this country for over a decade. This Happy teriyaki restaurant is the absolute best Japanese food I've had in a very long time. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful & very very clean. The woman serving us was such a charming sweet woman whom instantly made us feel very welcomed and our service was very fast. Food to the table after we ordered in under 10 minutes. Presentation of the food was phenomenal. very well put together. I highly recommend anyone looking for some amazing Japanese food THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Happy teriyaki in Dupont Washington. Absolute well deserved five star! “An unexpected jewel in a small strip mall. We wandered in and discovered the most delicious tempura, avocado bombs, and sushi, not to mention the fabulous Japanese old fashioneds. We will be making reservations for the hibachi to amaze some friends and family soon!“
