Had a great experience and will be returning. Had the salmon sashimi with cilantro and jalapeno, miso soup, and spicy rainbow roll. My partner had the opie (spelling?) roll and a veggie rolls. 5/5 on the food, and we ordered the perfect amount. Service was good, and the place feels authentic versus a hyped-up high-end fushion-gentrified sushi option (we are glad we came here instead of going to a gentrified establishment downtown). Food here is 5 stars. Delicious. The staff is kind and helpful. The interior is also quite pretty.The only thing to watch out for is the location. But otherwise 5 starts for where it is!

If you are looking for Japanese sushi this is the place to go. Nothing wrong with other locations necessarly but Kazu is a sushi chef from Japan and learned the art of sushi in Japan. Be patient it is a family owned resturant and if it gets busy it may take a extra min to get your food. Definitely worth the wait. Very inviting interior.
