“This is my favorite sushi restaurant. We’ve been coming here for 8 years now and the staff know us by name and by our usual orders. We celebrate birthdays here and enjoy casual dinners with friends. I have a lot of allergies, and they are great about helping me navigate what is safe for me on the menu.Dietary restrictions: I have pretty severe allergies and they’ve been great about helping guide me towards what is safe.Parking: Large parking lot shared with the rest of the shopping plaza. “Best Teriyaki in western Washington, the chicken breast is juicy and gilled to perfection never dry, the sauce is robust and not runny, 10/10 wont eat Teriyaki from anywhere else anymore the only negative is a very small parking lot that has limited access during high traffic “
“Amazing atmosphere, superb service, hidden gem. Sushi Kaunta is the best sushi/sashimi that I’ve had in the PNW and is on par with the same quality/tastes that I’ve had from other similar restaurants in Asia. I came across the restaurant online and thankfully the owner was able to help me with a table for one. The owner is extremely nice and provides personable service. I had the chef’s choice nigiri and ordered two additional pieces off of the menu, every bite was fresh and extremely delicious. Highly recommended and I look forward to when I can come back again! “The dining experience is unlike anything in this little town of Bonney Lake so it was a very pleasant surprise. Great service. The care with which they present their dishes and the quality of the food is outstanding. You do pay more because of it though. I think it's worth it because now that there are so many sushi restaurants to choose from my husband and I find ourselves being more dissenting about the quality. A poor sushi experience stays with you (and not in a good way) forever but this particular restaurant has definitely delivered on quality. The place is small and cozy so plan ahead. I would not recommend for large groups. But definitely intimate for a romantic dinner for two.“

“I love this hidden gem and will def be back! If you're looking for a relaxed and welcoming neighborhood spot with great food, this is it. The sushi was excellent. I got a Cali roll and something with salmon and cream cheese that was tempura fried (I forget the name), chefs kiss!! The owner and sushi chef were so nice and very personable, it made it feel really welcoming. They serve a wide variety of drinks (I saw margarita glasses) and are bringing karaoke back soon.“
“I literally cannot stop thinking of Nami Sushi when I'm craving Japanese food. This is definitely my go to spot now after coming 3 separate times. My favorite dish has to be their Monkey Brain appetizer. It's a beautiful example of how fried sushi should be (lightly!). Their rolls and nigiri are on point. The sushi was excellent, which is not what I was expecting in Bonney Lake. Our server was Jessica this last visit and she was amazing! “The shabu shabu that they serve here is really good. The restaurant has been around for over 30 years, and I've come here a couple times now. The food is extremely affordable when you look at how much you get especially in the shabu shabu meal. Six of us ate there and included sushi and it was less than $200 to feed all of us, though we did not have any beverages other than hot tea and water. The server lady was outstanding and worked unbelievably hard to take care of all the tables in the restaurant by herself. I'll definitely come back for shabu-shabu again!“
“Was helping my guy shop for a car today and when it was all said and done, we were starving so wanted somewhere close and Sapporo sushi came up on Google. Its a cute little restaurant, lots of decor on the walls and the servers are really sweet and prompt with service. I don't really remember the name of the rolls, I remember one was a volcano roll and one had spicey crab on top which was absolutely phenomenal and another had eel. We got a tasty miso and side salad as well Hamaki as a starter which were fried egg rolls that were very crispy and tasty. Overall a very pleasant dining experience and amazing food, ill definitely be returning. Everything pictured was $71 before tip so it's also reasonably priced. If I had to nitpick one thing; the eel was pretty thick sliced which was awesome, but I'm hugely textural with foods and eel skin is not something I find very enjoyable on the palate. I removed the pieces of eel and peeled the skin off to avoid the slimy texture that accompanies eel skin. Other than that, everything was great.“
“So delicious . New and exciting types of rolls and such. The prices are incredibly low. Between 2 of us we had 4 rolls,a bottle of sake and edemame. Including tip we walked out at just over 50$. It's very small and hidden but soooo very tasty and fresh.“

We got the 911, Playboy, New York and Rainbow rolls and they were all phenomenal. Our favorite was the 911. We also got the 15 pc yellowtail, salmon and tuna sashimi & nigiri and it was fresh and very flavorful. It melted in our mouths. I haven't had sushi that good in quite awhile. Another thing I love about this place is the service. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. “I had Honto Teriyaki cater an event for me. It was for over 40 people. I chose a wide variety of food. It was excellent! Food was hot, tasty, and everyone had seconds. It was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. They made sure everything was to my satisfaction. All of my guests loved the food. I have been to this restaurant and eaten there in person a few times. Again food is incredible. The restaurant has a very nice vibe to it. It is very comfortable setting to have dinner with your family.
