the owls nest (Owl House as my brain likes to remember it) has wonderful pastries and food options. their drinks are balanced and well made. the atmosphere matches the Olympia vibe really well and I feel very comfortable here. it's not too loud, but it's not so quiet that I feel like everyone can hear me talking with my friends either. great cafe to sit and talk or do my own thing at.
I've heard many great things so I've attempted it twice now. I ordered a white chocolate Americano a couple weeks back and had to throw it away. I tried to fix it on my own and there was nothing that could help it.
I decided to give them another chance today with a lavender matcha. I cannot drink it. I tried to doctor it up as well. but it tastes like pea soup with aromatic lavender. So disappointed. Especially for the cost.

Their pastries are so delicious. I've loved every one that I've tried, including the maple scone, tofu and caramelized onion tart, and sausage and cheese biscuit. This cafe is such a wonderful option in a town where vegan breakfast is so hard to find!
