“I live for Seth's Sidewalk Cafe!!! We eat here every chance we get. Just a block from the farmers market, this is the perfect weekend breakfast and lunch spot! Epic bagels (My fav is taylor ham, egg, and cheese with SPK on everything bagel), and amazing quiche and sandwich specials. Every visit is an adventure, but there are also amazing favorites I come back for again and again (like the beet salad). The owner, Seth, brings the perfect combo of Jersey and fine dining, cultivating a creative and unique menu everything local and fresh. The team is incredible, and I am a sucker for Christie's cookies. Top notch food and good vibes all around. I could not recommend more!! See you there!“

“Stopped here on a whim while in the area for work and was pleasantly surprised, my blended coffee and breakfast burrito were delicious and the view was even better. Yes it may be pricey but so isn’t everything now, you’re paying more for the great service and it’s definitely worth the extra few bucks.“

“Bought a bag of Morning Sun whole beans. Package says it's a darker roast. Darker than what? Water? We tried it three mornings in a row. With no other whole beans in the house, I had to switch to instant coffee. Morning Sun is NOT a dark roast. Sorry to say I was very disappointed.“

“Not a coffee drinker but I enjoy redbull drinks and smoothies, several of the girls are very sweet, I wish I could remember their names to give them a proper shout out, I think one of them is also named Elyse? Anyways, good service, usually pretty quick, they usually know my order and always ask if I want my banana bread which is pretty dang good if you haven’t tried it. It’s a good go to with fair pricing and friendly service.“

“I saw the reviews and noticed they sell tamales here so I came to try them. I tried the pork and chicken tamales and they were bomb. The masa was soft and moist, seasoned very well. I also got some pan dulce and I can't complain. The only issue I have is that the chicken tamale I got was more masa than chicken. I'm definitely coming back for more though.“

“I had my first solo lunch experience at Budd Bay Cafe, located right along the boardwalk at Percival Landing Park. The setting is beautiful, with peaceful waterfront views and a steady flow of people enjoying a walk along the boardwalk with their families and pets. Sitting by the window with the sunlight reflecting off the bay created a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. For my meal, I ordered the Panko Style Pacific Cod platter, which was recommended by my waitress since catfish was unavailable. It was served with french fries, coleslaw, and sides of ketchup and tartar sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—with great flavor throughout. Everything on the plate was fresh and well-prepared. I also asked for a drink that was sweet with a hint of sour, and the waitress suggested one of their signature cocktails made with strawberry vodka, triple sec, sweet and sour, Starry, and strawberry purée, served in a pink glass. It was refreshing, balanced, and complemented the meal nicely. The service was attentive and thoughtful. My waitress made helpful recommendations and ensured I was comfortable throughout my visit, which I especially appreciated as someone new to the area and dining alone. Although I considered dessert, I was completely satisfied by the end of my meal. Overall, this was a very pleasant first dining experience in Olympia. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for good food, a calm atmosphere, and a lovely waterfront view.“

“I've been coming to this place for over 50 years. You will never walk away hungry or regretting anything you ordered. The service was absolutely stellar! Amanda was very attentive to any of our cuisine requests. Are coffee cups were always kept topped off. I'm a very difficult person to please, And they managed to make me feel like a king. I would recommend this place whether you're looking for just a cup of coffee, a full sit-down meal or a quick game of pool or shuffleboard. Fantastic atmosphere.“

“First time stopping by this bakery, I only went in to buy some pastries. I stopped by around 10am and they were already almost out of pastries. I did really enjoy their butterhorn croissant. The service was a little lacking, but this seems to be normal in the city of Olympia in general. If you're in the food and service industry good customer service and smiling goes a long way.“

“Yesterday I picked up the most beautiful birthday cake for my mother’s 90th birthday. These folks knocked it out of the park! Asked them to just use the icing colors they had available to make it pretty…and glitter bomb it. It was stunning, everyone loved it! Thank you so much!🧁♥️ But, I have to add, I bought two berry scones which turned out to be fairly raw/doughy inside…not edible and got trashed. 💔“

“We ordered catering for a large event of 150 people. This was the second year we ordered Evergreen Gyros for our catered event and we were so pleased with our whole experience. The business has recently changed ownership, but the new owners were very proactive in the transition and ensuring we were squared away with everything we needed. The delivery and setup process was smooth and quick, with the staff ensuring everything was kept warm. We chose the build your own gyro with chicken and falafel as the proteins, and everything was delicious! We would highly recommend them for event catering and we will be returning next year for our next event.“
