My wife and I vacation all over the world and have eaten at hundreds of restaurants. It's not often when we go out to eat that we come across a meal where we say, “Wow!”, after every bite! I hadn't been to Gardner's Restaurant since the late 1980s but we received a gift certificate. Everything was outstanding. We began our dinner with French onion soup, which was perfect. I had the scallops which were wonderful, and the crispy rice gave it such delightful texture. The desserts were amazing. Moreover, the service was flawless. We had an outstanding experience dining at Gardener’s last night. Our food was excellent! We enjoyed everything we ordered, including the wine, and dessert was the home run! Service and ambiance were perfection. I accidentally made a reservation for the wrong date but they were accommodating and got our party of 4 in. We can’t wait to come back! A few noteworthy menu items: The halibut, clams, brussels, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh daily special salad, and all of the desserts!
