I was raised on wild salmon and halibut growing up in Alaska so I’m extremely picky about my seafood. The quality of fish this company gets is top notch! I am highly impressed! Thank you guys for giving me a taste of home!!
Always the freshest seafood, great service and they offer some wonderful recipes. Staff can usually suggest simple ways to prepare seafood with which a customer may not be familiar. They always offer to debone salmon and other filets that may still have some bones in and they cut filets into serving size pieces on request. The Olympia Seafood Company offers fresh local seafood with knowledgeable, helpful staff. The selection of fresh fish includes sushi grade for ceviche, along with excellent smoked salmon, fresh salmon of many varieties, real crab, giant shrimp, and crab cakes. The quality of the fish and other offerings like bread, chowder, pasta, and seasonings is unmatched. The staff is always helpful, patient, and amazing. They also have delicious Clam chowder made with fish stock, not thickened cream, with perfect consistency, clams, celery, onions, and potato chunks. The place has a nice selection of grab and go items including seafood dishes. A suggestion is to grab some oysters and eat them on the dock with a bottle of wine from the place next door. Customers go at least once a week and are never disappointed. The only downside is the line of people who also know a good thing, sometimes getting to the good stuff first.
