The coffee is so good that it tastes like the aroma as it is ground. Our guests always ask where we get the coffee and decline cream and sugar because there are no harsh acid or bitter tastes. Their service is exceptional and I love the personal relationship they have with their coffee farms.“

“Batdorf has a great selection of roasts with beans from around the world. Their knowledgeable and friendly staff always help me find exactly what I want. It's pretty inexpensive for me, but if you're a heavy coffee drinker it can get a bit expensive. Check the hours before you go. They're a bit funky.“

“Bought a bag of Morning Sun whole beans. Package says it's a darker roast. Darker than what? Water? We tried it three mornings in a row. With no other whole beans in the house, I had to switch to instant coffee. Morning Sun is NOT a dark roast. Sorry to say I was very disappointed.“

“This drive-thru coffeeshop is off the Black Lake blvd, that connects Olympia and Tumwater, close to highway 101 exit. They open at 5am (6am on weekends), and you can find a few trucks of early working crowd lining up already, because in this little coffeeshop, they serve some delicious coffee and hearty breakfast menu, energy drinks and pastries.The people who work here are so, so friendly. They have monthly drink specials like Fireside Mocha for July and Elephant Ear coffee for August and I always have hard time choosing, because not only they all sound yummy but they've all been so good!!! Breakfast burritos are delicious and I love picking up donut holes with my coffee from time to time.Also, this is purely personal preference but they use Monin syrup for coffees and it's my absolute favorite vs. Torani's so that's one more but very important reason for me to make a stop here : )One more great feature about this particular drive thru is that its located on a giant lot, and they have both sides of the window open for service so you can easily drive in and out, and never overflowing with trains of cars like you might experience at typical drive thrus.They have another location in East Olympia that's a walk-in coffeeshop and bigger, at the Briggs so if you're on the otherside of the town, go check em out too! “My husband and I are regulars are this coffee shop! The servers and so incredibly kind and always quick! The coffee is the best around hands down. They don't add excessive amounts of sweeteners to their lattes, which is greatly apprecated! Both and coffee and food are fresh tasting. The bagels and large and tasty. They have fair pricing for coffee and food! Great place around the Olympia/Lacey area! Give it a shot!“
