“I recently discovered Asian Express in my neighborhood, and I like it. My wife bought the chicken Pad Thai for lunch (a good portion) for about $13.00. It was very tasty.

After having a good experience the first time around, I decided to order more dishes a week later. I ordered the chicken wings, beef larb, and the pad Thai for dinner. All the dishes are delicious. One of these dishes came with a small container of steamed rice. So, that's a complete meal there. Out of the three dishes I noticed the Pad Thai was loaded. It was stuffed in the To-Go box. It's much more than the lunch portion. That's when I compared the two receipts. They charged a bit more - about $5 more for dinner, and so did the serving portion. It's loaded. I'm not sure if you can order the lunch portion during dinner time. The lunch portion is all I need.

Anyway, I just want to share my liking of this place. There are so many other dishes to try, and the staff is wonderful. This is based on my phone conversation with Mike. My wife has been picking up food and interacting with others who work there.

“This is my FAVORITE Asian food place in the area. They always get my order perfect and everything just tastes so amazing. I usually order extra crispy fried tofu for my protein and it's always done perfectly. I generally get take out and it's ready fast and the staff are kind and on top of service. I would definitely suggest going here or ordering take out/delivery.

“I wasnt feeling well a d had an urge for something spicy. I ordered phad thai at the spiciest and have to say that it was DELICIOUS! I usually have to add spice, but it was the perfect amount (for me, my husband not so much lol) and the flavor was AMAZING! I am definitely going to eat from here again soon!“

“Been coming here since it opened. I know the ownership has changed and honestly, it’s still really good. The menu is pretty extensive and also has street food options. I’ve had many different plates and each has always been delicious. The som Tom I’ve ordered multiple times. I like spicy food but with this plate a 3 spicy is toooo hot. Ordered it a medium spicy and it’s warm and cozy. I could’ve done a 2 1/2 stars but I’m glad I could taste all the ingredients.
Also, there was a pad kee mao plate at the table and oh yeah that was delicious too! The Thai ice teas are always so good I wished they came in bigger glasses. The fried banana with coconut ice cream was a really nice touch to finish the meal off. It’s not super sweet and pretty light. The service was good. They came and refilled our waters and checked in to see if we needed anything multiple times. Yes I will come back again.

Vegetarian options: Many dishes that have meat options also have tofu options also.“

“Everyone loves their karaage chicken...huge servings! They also have the best Tom Kha...the flavor is spot on! Pad See Ew, drunken noodles, etc are all wonderful. Portions are large & prices are reasonable. But, biggest reason I keep returning is their terrific staff...just the nicest people!“

“As a Thai person, I can confidently say that this is by far the best Thai restaurant in Seattle, probably in the entire state. I lived in Thailand for 25 years before moving to the USA, so I know what authentic Thai food should taste like. If someone doesn't like the food here, Thai food might not be for them because this place is beyond amazing! Big and popular Thai restaurants usually taste like the Thai version of Panda Express—good, but not authentic. “I ordered food Appethaizing Thaih through uber eats. When the food arrived, we saw we only got our appetizers. I tried to contact the Uber driver in vain. So then I called the restaurant and was told the driver had only gotten one bag of food. The restaurant called the driver as soon as they realized he'd only picked up a portion of the order, but the driver's response was a noncommittal 'okay'. They hung up and we hoped the uber driver would return to the restaurant. I then got a call back from the restaurant. The uber driver never came back, so the owner himself drove the food out to our home. WOW. The food was also so delicious!!! Thank you, thank you! We so appreciate our local restaurants!!!“

“This is our go to Thai restaurant. We're very lucky to live so close. We love to dine in or take out. They haven't had an actual bar in a long time, I think something mentions their liquor license. Somehow we've been many times when it's not busy, which shocks me since we love their food. The staff is friendly and restaurant is clean. We have kids so don't order spicy items, our go to our chicken pad Thai, Panag curry and all the apps!“

“Incredible experience and service. Came on a Friday night with a group of 7 and the very next night with a group of 23. The pad see ew and drunkard noodles were huge hits with multiple members of the group (large portions, great noodles, plentiful veggies in the drunkard noodles), but the yellow curry, pad thai, and larb were also highlights. The restaurant was incredibly accommodating to our large group and service was fast considering how many of us there were.“

“Excellent food for the money, great flavors.

This is a hole in the wall place that has a focus on take out, and it shows. Very few seats and you will be served in take out containers.

Knowing that, and adjusting expectations accordingly, this is a great little restaurant.

Generous portions and did I mention good flavors? The red curry chicken is my goto, and it never disappoints.

“ZERO STARS! Overpriced, miss labeled, and falsely advertised! Bet you clearly states like coming knowledge for anybody that’s had a spring roll would know it should entail of the rice wrapper, lettuce, carrots, shrimp, noodles. Now take a look at that picture and tell me if you see any of the last two ingredients. Might as well call it a lettuce wrap because that’s all it was was just lettuce and carrots and a piece of shrimp buried in the middle of it all is aware of that. After calling and complaining the owner said that that’s how they are supposed to be made because they have people complaining that the noodle start to smell bad from keeping them overnight. That’s a whole separate issue don’t list an ingredient literally on your website it bad you that you are knowingly not going to include in the item because I would not have paid what I paid for a literally just all lettuce and carrots because you guys what a cheap out and put whole shrimp or noodles and your spring rolls. I have never ever been to any type of Asian establishment that would call this a spring roll with no type of protein to it whatsoever and the restaurant was less than fourth coming being helpful in making it correctly. Never ever coming back and making sure nobody I know ever wastes their money there!“

“I ordered takeout and got the red curry with chicken and pad Thai with tofu, both at spice level 5. The red curry, served with steamed rice, was very tasty and came in a good portion, though it was more mild than spicy. The pad Thai was also good, with well-fried tofu and a generous amount of it, which I really enjoyed and would highly recommend. The order was ready in 10 minutes and was well-packaged. The ambience is decent.“

“We lived in Laos for 7 years and love Lao food. This is by far the most authentic tasting Lao food that we have found. We especially like their nem khao, Lao style sausages, and their jeow mak lin is the only real-tasting Lao tomato salsa that I have ever found outside of Laos or my wife's kitchen. They have done amazing job with their flavors and indoor casual atmosphere (feels very modern Vientiane chic). They seem to have a hard time keeping their khao piak noodles on hand so if you really your khao piak fix, be sure to call ahead. I have now been to Sweet Rice 5 times and they have never had the khao piak noodles. If you want really good Lao food and can't get over there, you can get your fix at Sweet Rice!“

“Nice little restaurant tucked into a strip mall. Service was excellent as the staff welcomed us immediately. The food was AMAZING. Probably the best or most flavorful Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) dishes that I have ever had. Spiced just right and it didn’t overpower the flavor. My sister and mom loved their Pad Thai.
