Based on the reviews, Verrazano's is a cool place for an Italian experience in the Federal Way area. It is an upscale Italian restaurant that feels like a real find, comfortable enough to be a regular neighborhood go-to but also perfect for a special occasion. The atmosphere is warm with white tablecloths and a fireplace in the lobby. The views of Puget Sound and the Olympics from the deck are a huge bonus, especially during golden hour and sunset. The service is excellent, friendly, and punctual without being invasive. The food is excellent. The spaghetti is classic, done right, with generous portions. The steak bites and the 14oz dry aged steak are delicious. The Clams Sauté, Lobster Prawn Fettuccini, and grilled garlic bread are also highlights. The drinks are a highlight too, with a well-curated cocktail and wine program. A guest enjoyed a Manhattan and an Old Fashioned. The chicken parm is the best ever seen. The shortbread crust cheesecake with Raspberry drizzle and the Cannoli are great desserts. It is a bit of an expensive upper middle class restaurant.
