Took my daughter here for a nice dinner. It was winter so not much action going on outside on the water but I had the best rib eye I’ve had in my life and I’ve had a lot of them. She had bolognese and she said it was amazing and that is her favorite meal. Will definitely be back:)

The food is good but the view is excellent. Plenty of windowed seating indoors and two patios to view the sound and the sunset. The food is the stock to your ribs, don’t be shy about eating your whole plate kind of food. It is excellent if a little heavy on the sauce. The dessert was also very good - limoncello cake was light, moist and a great finisher. I only wish they had a bit more elevated cocktails.

Every time I visit family in Des Moines, WA (Seattle area), I have to have a drink, meal and dessert here. I'm usually here visiting and dogsitting, so I go alone and sit at the bar. Even in work clothes, I always feel welcome and the bartenders and staff are friendly and efficient. Tip: the seat at the far end of the bar has a great view (If the weather is too cold for the back patio). They open at 3pm and now have a happy hour with some value pricing - I had a great Honey Kolsch beer, Meatballs, and the chef's choice Ravioli...and of course, my favorite salad anywhere - the Insalata Verazano, which I get evertime I go there. Note: always ask what the special is - the day I visited, it was fantastic braised beef ravioli in a mushroom sauce. It was just fantastic!
