I want to give a shout out to Vietnamese food with a mainstream approach. I was talking with my Vietnamese American brother (literally), I’m a Black guy who grew up eating, cooking and absorbing Vietnamese culture thanks to him. One thing we always loved was the Viet Deli/ bakeries in the ID. Bomb food and particularly banh mi for super cheap! Generally I love this store for takeout — however I hate that when you load their site, it shows all other locations immediately and takes a second or two to show KirklandI just ordered to the wrong one and while this is probably entirely my fault; I’m going to share some of the responsibility with the goofy website. I have a soy allergy so generally have to stay away from Vietnamese (and most other Asian) cuisine sadly, but Vinason has soy-free options that were amazing!!! We ordered the bahn mi and pho ??. The food came out super fast, and the place is so pretty and cleanly! Will definitely come back & highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Soy-free options (as well as other allergens) on website!
