This was my first time eating this style of cuisine and I could not have had a better introduction! The food here has such amazing flavor and texture! The prices are extremely good for the portion size! The website said the beef stew feeds 2 persons, but we fed 3 and still have about half the container left to have for another meal! I will DEFINITELY be ordering from here again!
Where do I start?
I’ve never had this cuisine before and found this and my husband and I placed an order for beef stew, pounded yam and Jollof rice with beef and a few meat pies.
I have to say the service was great, the food and quality and flavors are some of the best food I’ve had in years! My family and I are beyond impressed and will 100% be returning.
If you are reading this, I highly recommend this business and food!

Tess Kitchen catering services offers homemade-style food with amazing flavor and texture, according to reviews. First-time diners of this cuisine found it a great introduction, with extremely good prices for the portion size. The beef stew feeds two persons but fed three with half the container left for another meal. Service was great, and the food quality and flavors are some of the best in years, with a 100% return rate and high recommendation.
However, some noted it is not a restaurant but homemade, so customers should know dine-in is not an option. Okra soup was overpriced with no meat included, and adding one piece of meat cost about $5. Plantain was not ripened and only 6 pieces for about $8. Beef stew came with a side of rice, but goat meat cost about $27 with no side, and any side cost about $10 upwards. Quantity needs adjustment if prices are maintained.
Despite this, egusi and pounded yam, plus egusi soup and semu, were beyond expectations, delicious, with great portions and quality. Delivery and packing were top notch, with a second batch already ordered.
