“We catered food from Yamada Teriyaki and were blown away. The samosas were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the House Special Fried Rice was a total hit, generously loaded with tender meat, shrimp, and vegetables, all seasoned to perfection.

Everything arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully packed. The portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding. The service was smooth, friendly, and reliable. For the price and portion sizes, the catering option is absolutely worth it.

One thing I also really like is that Mandalay Deli Mart is right next door, so it is super convenient to grab drinks, snacks, Burmese goodies, or quick deli items all in one stop.

Highly recommend Yamada Teriyaki for catering, authentic flavors, great presentation, and excellent value. We will definitely be back for more.“

“Truly amazing teriyaki and katsu, if a bit expensive. But you can taste the quality. The katsu was well breaded and perfectly fried. The teriyaki had a great char and was dressed in a thin soy sauce heavy sauce, not coated like most Seattle teriyaki. The salad was excellent as well with a sesame dressing. Very traditional Puyallup style! I loved it!“

“They have wonderful food and wonderful service, but when I asked for one thing they seemed annoyed with my request, which was simply if they had chili oil. So that kind of brought the mood down a little bit to a little uncomfortable. Great place otherwise.“

They have vegetarian options but unfortunately some sauces like the pad thai sauce, is pretty made and contains fish sauce. So may be less veggie options than you would expect at most Thai restaurants.“

“Our first visit was yesterday for lunch and we had Chicken Xiao Long Bao, Chicken pan-fried potstickers, Chicken and Vegetable Won-tons in sweet and sour sauce and Spicy (Ma la) noodles.....all were very good! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the whole experience!!“

“In Seattle, the best teriyaki place in the city is usually the one closest to your house. Nikko Teriyaki is no exception. In my 12 years living in West Seattle, this place has never disappointed. Good portions. Tastes great. Fast service. No suprises.

Tip: Ask for a (free) extra salad dressing. One is not enough for the generous amount of salad you get.“

“This mom and pop shop had everything I needed for a quick stop for food and snacks. I wanted a quick bite and stopped here last minute. Easily best place in the area for a bahn mi. The ingredients were really fresh and the bread was the best. They did not skimp out out on the pate or meat like most places do.“

As we were exploring we were looking for a place to have lunch & so we happened to walk by Vivienne’s Bistro II. Decided to go in & try the place out. This turned out to be a great choice. We ordered the Lobster Rangoon appetizer, my wife ordered the Broccoli with chicken & I ordered the General Tao’s Chicken. The food & service were extremely good. They’ve already placed their order on a kiosk and they’re waiting for their number to be called. There isn’t a lot of flexibility in the menu and I think that’s what makes the flow of service very easy for this company is a very good model of business. There is some dine in seating. Most people just walk out with the container in hand no bag ready to eat everything is pretty much teriyaki based chicken they charge you extra for spicy so I would recommend getting regular and then just adding your own sauce for spice so I don’t have any pictures. I already ate.“

“This spot feels less like a restaurant and more like a community hub. Homey & welcoming.

Coming from the restaurant background, I grew to love food places that have no gimmicks and are true to their standard - Pho Liu is on top of that short list in Seattle.

I go here 3 times a week & they serve consistently high quality pho. The small bowl (pictured) is more than enough & leaves room to try their delicious apps. Fish-sauced wings, spring rolls, egg rolls are all phenomenal.

One way to tell they take care of their craft is how long the noodles can sit in the broth without releasing any starch. Fresh noodles, perfectly cooked, and well strained. Also their bean sprouts and herbs are extremely fresh. Never once have I had soggy or bitter bean sprouts here - which is more common at pho places than you’d think.

The owner family & servers here are great & kind people, as well. The subtle cues are how many regulars I’ve seen on random visits and how well the fish (in the fish tank) are taken care of.

This neighborhood place is truly one of the last pre-tech boom Seattle relics.“

The air-conditioning felt so nice and the customer service was top tier, I love that they have mix and match options for the combos. They took time to help me understand the menu and all the options. “We are regulars at Tokyo. This restaurant has been in Factoria for many years and it is always great. The service is great. The sushi is fresh and delicious. We also order a variety of hot doors such as bento boxes, uson, and various rice bowls. I think their chicken karage is also exceptional. We do both dine in and takeout and it is always great!“

“Nikko is one of my go-to lunch spots. Their teriyaki chicken is the best in the valley. The portions are generous, and the sauce has a unique spice in it that I love, not your ordinary bottle variety sauce. Service is fast and always friendly.

In my most recent visit I strayed from the usual to sample their yakisoba noodles. Again, large portions for an exceptional value. It was fresh and hot. I ate it all, but I probably won't order it again, as I found the sauce too sweet. Next time back to the chicken.

“Great spot but would no longer recommend due to poor takeout service (hosted by Smile which is likely to blame). If you're dining in, ignore this review. We placed an order this evening and the email said pick-up would be ready immediately (stated the same time the order was was a bit of a red flag, but no one wants cold food) so I rushed over. Follow-up email and text said 50 mins but those were received after I was on the road. I've now been watching folks eat for 30 mins, waiting.....“
