“A wonderful experience starting with our server Thomas. His attentiveness to our needs and others was unbelievable. He helped an elderly couple who asked them how to reheat ther leftovers in the best way possible. His explanation was above and beyond what is normal. The bartender, Will, worked together with Thomas to pair a wonderful smoked soju with our baked butter moji desert. It was wonderful!!!. Later the owner, Jason came out to talk to us and gave us the Hawaiian Aloha feel. It was like being there in Hawaii. Truly unexpected and appreciated. An experience that rivaled our time in New York, NY.“

“When we got to the resturant most of the patrons were sitting outside, but when we went to sit down all the tables
Were sticky the cashier came out and wiped of the table and it was still sticky. The food was ok, i had beef teriyaki and my wife had beef noodles both were a little more salty than I wanted.“

“We tried 8 items and every single one was delicious. The New York roll was incredible. I had something that starts with a Y I forgot the name of (w/ tempura shrimp and spicy crab salad) and I could've eaten three. My kids liked their NY and spicy tuna rolls so much that they ordered seconds. The ramen bowl was petite enough that I could eat it plus two rolls (and share a dessert) and not explode, be super satisfied. The ramen was $6.95, fancy rolls were $8.95, edamame $2.95, and wine $6. The ube cheesecake, OMG. Unbelievable. I cannot believe how delicious this was for the price. Also, service was 👌Very kid friendly. I cannot wait to come back!“

“I just want to say, I drive by this place all the time when I go run my dog in magnolia, finally stopped in. Quiet little spot but the lady taking my order was so sweet and nice, made me understand the order, because I wanted extra side of gyoza with my Teri chicken, she insisted I just do the combo. I don’t normally do combo because it usually means you get less chicken but she told me that’s not how they do it :). I was more than surprised and happy. I got a feel stack of chicken, two scoop rice (which is also rare) 6 gyoza on the side and side salad, and it was freaking delish! Want to try the katsu next. Also as a side note, the salad was so fresh.

“Absolutely LOVE this place! Special shoutout to Brian who works there every day. I come here once, sometimes twice a week enough to be a usual. Brian is friendly and even though at times it gets busy I can see his calm demeanor and he never fails to give me great and friendly service so hopefully you get to experience that too! 💪

FOOD: My favorite go to is the General Tsao's Chicken and the serving is enough for me to keep leftovers for dinner😋

“I’ve been to Happy Teriyaki & Sushi in Bremerton many times, and the food has consistently been amazing. I’ve tried quite a few different things on the menu, and honestly, almost everything I’ve ordered has been really good. The portions are good, the food is flavorful, and it’s definitely a place I keep coming back to.

The majority of my experiences with the staff have also been great. Everyone is usually friendly, helpful, and provides really good customer service.

My only criticism is that there is one cashier I’ve encountered several times who has consistently come across as very short and rude. I haven’t seen her during my more recent visits, but unfortunately, whenever she was working, it noticeably affected the experience. I normally wouldn’t mention a single interaction, but since it happened multiple times, I think it’s fair to include.

Outside of that, I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. The food is excellent, the rest of the staff has always treated me well, and I’ll absolutely continue coming back.“

“We came here to escape extremely loud music at a nearby pub when we just wanted a quiet night out and we were so pleased by the soft bossanova music and the exceptional service from the staff here. We’ve come here at least weekly ever since and are proud to be new regulars.

“In Seattle, the best teriyaki place in the city is usually the one closest to your house. Nikko Teriyaki is no exception. In my 12 years living in West Seattle, this place has never disappointed. Good portions. Tastes great. Fast service. No suprises.

Tip: Ask for a (free) extra salad dressing. One is not enough for the generous amount of salad you get.“

“Genuinely one of the greatest food experiences I've ever had, and I barely had anything. My order of Miso Soup and Rumi rolls were so good that they made up for the little I ordered. The Miso soup of course, was wonderful; a great warm up to the Rumi rolls. These sushi rolls made me feel things. Perfect texture, taste, and plating literally gave me shivers. Not only was the food (I may be going a bit overboard but this place deserves it) awe inspiring, but the staff were kind and polite. The decorations were beautiful, and I had an extraordinary eating experience.“

“I have ordered takeout from here, and always had a good meal. Today, I took my son to dine in and had an incredible experience. We were greeted by the waiter Dom and he was exceptionally patient with all my questions. His friendly attitude radiated through the whole restaurant, making the experience that much better. We did the all you can eat option, and it was well worth the price. All of the food was fresh and well prepared, and quick service with a very cool kitty robot. There were enough vegetarian options to have a large variety of food to try. I highly recommend this place for good, clean, all you can eat restaurant. I believe it only runs for a certain part of the day, so maybe check before expecting all you can eat, but I’m not too sure on that.“

“Only got an unagi don for takeout, wasn't expecting much since all the unagi we've had in Seattle are so MEH, and we were doing takeout (lowered expectations). But my goodness, the unagi was cooked to perfection, so fresh, and delicious. We will definitely be back to try the sushi.“

Basically, I shared a very pleasant $90+ meal with a couple friends. However, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm not well-practiced/educated in tipping because I've so rarely eaten out in all my life. I SEVERELY under-tipped them for this meal, and I just feel awful because it was AMAZING service on top of really decent sushi and better sashimi.“

I spotted the Fred Meyer and decided to pull in and check for a restaurant. Saw Kim’s and went in. I took an order of Chicken Chow Mein back to the hotel. Best Chow Mein I’ve ever had! One order was enough for two, or for leftovers. So Savory.“
