“Stopped by Teriyaki Town for lunch. The restaurant was busy, but there was no wait to order. The lovely woman who took my order was very nice. The plate of food was very generous for the price and it was delicious. I will definitely come back again soon.“

“Love LOVE this place. I used to love their Kirkland location and was sad when I moved away, so I was absolutely ecstatic that they opened a Ballard location. The rolls are affordable and tasty, and the wine pours are the most generous in Ballard.“

“I just want to say, I drive by this place all the time when I go run my dog in magnolia, finally stopped in. Quiet little spot but the lady taking my order was so sweet and nice, made me understand the order, because I wanted extra side of gyoza with my Teri chicken, she insisted I just do the combo. I don’t normally do combo because it usually means you get less chicken but she told me that’s not how they do it :). I was more than surprised and happy. I got a feel stack of chicken, two scoop rice (which is also rare) 6 gyoza on the side and side salad, and it was freaking delish! Want to try the katsu next. Also as a side note, the salad was so fresh.
Great stuff“

“We loved Mashiko. Every single thing we ordered was phenomenal and the sustainability first approach makes the experience that much better. Our sever was knowledgeable, super easy going and everything he recommended was delicious. I’ll be going back for the Omakase very soon.“

“Always so good! One of the best teriyaki places in Seattle. Always get the beef with fried rice, my hubs gets the spicy chicken. Great place to just grab dinner on the way home from a late night at the office. Easy parking in the back and always quick.“

“Good local sushi spot in Magnolia. It’s one of those places you end up going back to often because it’s consistently fresh and well-prepared.
The fish tastes clean and high quality, and the rolls are well - balanced without being overdone. Service is friendly and efficient and it has that comfortable neighborhood feel where regulars are clearly known and appreciated.
Overall, it’s a very solid go-to for sushi in the area - reliable, fresh and always a good experience.“

“I’ve gotten take out a couple times now for dinner and I’ve always enjoyed the food! ☺️ My favorite is their beef teriyaki, my secret is mixing the rice with their salad dressing 🫣. Even though it is a bit expensive, the portion sizes last me two days.
It is a bit small and parking is sometimes hard but they make good use of the space. The servers are always very attentive, the one with mouth piercings was very kind and helped me understand the items on the menu. 😌
Will continue eating here! Highly recommend!“

“There is nothing rude or uncomfortable about the service, it's just very brief and efficient. I enjoy it, because I can be out of there quickly.
I don't deviate much from three items: chicken katsu (I like the flavor of their peanut oil), veggie Hong Kong noodles (they are extra generous with the veggie option and the aromatics are more fragrant), and egg rolls.
Sometimes I just get egg rolls. They are SO GOOD, and, they're generous.
That being said, I actually don't like the teriyaki at Chung's Teriyaki. 😶“

“Everything was exceptional, the food, the service, the great chefs that you can see from part of the dining room. The one thing however that kept my experience from being next level, was the misplacement of the frisee on the main dish, the duck confit. Its too bitter, naturally and it's a little bit of a shock to the pallette compared with what otherwise could have been a great plate with subtly bold sauce and perfect puff pastry. I just got home and I'm still confused with why the frisee was on the plate?“

“Great food and generous portions. The chicken teriyaki is very tasty and the beef has a great flavor as well. The egg rolls are awesome and they have some really good options for vegetarians as well. A nice quiet place to eat and and they are really good at being fast when they're not getting slammed with orders but they still do better then most restaurants during the dinner rushes.“

“Got the Poke roll and the Gyoza
Average prices for the area
Poke roll ($12) was simple/kept the Ahi Tuna front and center with a nice touch of Japanese pepper(? I am guessing - it tasted like what I had in the past)“

“Food was so good and service was so good! I got the chicken teriyaki because I’m vegetarian and it was such a good replacement! Tasted like real meat. We got our food within 3 minutes which is crazy! The people working were so sweet and kind. The bathroom was so cool. :)))“

“This is a great teriyaki place. The teriyaki in particular is fantastic, and awesome fried rice as well. It's a small shop, not many tables, probably not the kind of place that you want to hang out and eat at if you're looking for atmosphere, but you are certainly welcome to grab a table if you so choose. People here are plenty friendly, but they are often very busy, so it can feel rushed, but they're just trying to make sure everybody gets service. They are a bit pricey, but what isn't in Seattle these days. I recommend getting the teriyaki, and get it to go.
Honorable mention to the awesome pork fried rice“

“I was staying at the hotel next to hwy. 16 and was thinking of going into the downtown area of Port Orchard but I got turned around. I spotted the Fred Meyer and decided to pull in and check for a restaurant. Saw Kim’s and went in. I took an order of Chicken Chow Mein back to the hotel. Best Chow Mein I’ve ever had! One order was enough for two, or for leftovers. So Savory.“

“DELICIOUS sashimi. I really hope the owners find this comment. I'm leaving this review because my conscience won't allow me not to. Basically, I shared a very pleasant $90+ meal with a couple friends. However, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm not well-practiced/educated in tipping because I've so rarely eaten out in all my life. I SEVERELY under-tipped them for this meal, and I just feel awful because it was AMAZING service on top of really decent sushi and better sashimi.“

“Delicious, great ambiance, freshest fish I had ever tasted and so reasonably priced!! Great portion size too, really nice from a sushi restaurant. It's just off the street from the main drag of Ballard and I've never had a wrong order in the 9 years I've been going here. Freshest fish I've had aside from one or two downtown spots!“

“My favorite sushi spot. This is family business in magnolia with some of the best sushi. It feels like you’re at home here and the quality is amazing. My favorite roll is the hot mess roll but I love the nigiri and the monkey brains! If you’re in the area this is a must place stop“

“All this for 8.95?! Weekday lunch specials til 3pm are a steal deal! Food was almost a 10/10 most the chicken was pretty lean but some fat pieces got left behind and that’s the only reason I gave a 9 instead of a 10. Service was a little bland but oh well.“

As well as the sesame chicken for my kid, nice and crispy chicken with a sweet and tangy sauce.“
