“Mori Sushi&Bento is a staple in the community. One of, if not the best Japanese restaurant in Kitsap county. The service is always fast, and the food is delicious every single time. The staff is friendly and helpful, always making sure if Seattle is playing, the game is on! If you want a bento box, sushi roll, ramen noodles, poke bowl, this is the place to go. Expect it to be little busy on weekends; take out is usually even faster, just as reliable and tasty as dine-in.Parking: Parking is available on the sides of the building and directly in front.“
“One of our longtime favorite sushi restaurants, Sam's is always delicious. On our recent trip, we enjoyed nigiri, bento box, and udon soup--it was all outstanding. This restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Street parking is hit and miss (no parking lot unfortunately). Now that bento now comes with maguro (tuna) instead of hamashi, but the wait staff graciously provided hamachi (yellowtail) this time only. We'll be back!Kid-friendliness: family friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Door is wide enough, but needed help opening (old building). Ramp just inside was wide, easy to walk down. Regular tables, able to wheel up to one. Didn't use the rest room. No handicap parking but you may find street parking nearby. We found a place out front, there's an old ramp right here too (former loading dock?). Staff was pleasant and helpful.“
“Amazing sushi -- and sustainable! The only downside is the server with the Coke-bottle glasses, easily the most annoying server I have encountered in my many years of dining. He was like something out of an episode of _Curb Your Enthusiasm_. If you have the misfortune of getting him, make it clear at the outset that you want to enjoy your meal in peace and will not tolerate his clueless pestering.“
“Ordered the takoyaki, ribeye steak, and fried tuna roll. Everything was delicious. Would probably try a regular sushi or sashimi next time though. Steak was very good. I had had asked for medium rare and it came out well done so was kinda sad about that but it was still really good. And they have good prices for the rolls. Definitely recommend.“
“There isn't a lot of choice when it comes to sushi or Japanese food in general in West Seattle. Thankfully, Irashai is great. I routinely get sushi takeout from here - they're quick to fill the orders and the staff is always pleasant and friendly. The non-sushi part of the menu is also really solid. Glad to have this place close by for my sushi needs.“
“Katsu Burger in Ballard was the perfect thing to find on a beautiful Saturday afternoon! The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with genuine smiles and warmth from the owners. They’re not just serving up burgers; they’re creating a welcoming community hub! We indulged in the Umami Wagyu Burger x 2 and a side of their Nori Fries, complete with the heavenly trio of dipping sauces – curry mayo, nori ranch, and wasabi mayo. Each bite was a taste sensation- flavor bomb MOMENT, prepared with obvious care and attention to detail. The owners’ kindness TRULY just shines through in every aspect of their establishment, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. If you’re searching for more than just a meal – a genuine experience filled with delicious food and heartfelt hospitality – then Katsu Burger is the place for you. Give them a visit and let them wrap you in their warm embrace with a side of curry mayo.“
“We loved the Bruce Lee roll! Some might call the service "slower" but I just call it a busy dinner rush. AKA, don't be unrealistic if you show up at dinner time and expect everything the second you order it. They were all busting and the servers were super kind. Great experience! Will definitely go back.“
“It was absolutely criminal that they were nearly empty when I arrived, they should have a line around the block at all hours. The value for money here is amazing, and honestly even at value price, the only complaint I have is that I wish the agedashi tofu broth had a touch more seasoning (which was happily solved by a splash of soy).Seriously though, it's not an expansive menu, but what they do they do well. Please visit. Also please note they are carry out only on Fridays. I will be back on more than a few Thursday afternoons.*Edit to add they have some of my favourite chopsticks ever for a dine in place.“
“Food is great, you can tell they really care about the dishes. I always see the same few employees running the shop and they’re very nice and attentive. Dining in can be a little tight in the no-frills small dining area but it’s charming, we normally do takeout and enjoy at home.“
“The service is excellent and the food is always ready within estimated time. The food itself is pretty good. Parking can get tricky when it's busy though, so easier to maneuver with a smaller car.The fried gyoza are crispy and delicious, especially with the dipping sauce. I think the California roll was good, but maybe a little too much mayo for my liking. Chicken katsu was very good and had great portions. Now the spicy teriyaki was good as a dish itself, but it doesn't taste like teriyaki. Usually chicken teriyaki uses the sauce, but spicy. Again, it was good as I like spicy food but it did not taste like teriyaki sauce so it didn't really have sweetness, just spicyness. The fried rice that I added with it was actually quite good pairing though and balanced it better than white would have.Overall, great place and I'll likely pass by again and give it another shot!“
“The food was excellent and the staff attentive and very personable, even on a busy Saturday night. Our party included 2 (very) young children, and the table set-up already included the requested booster seat when we arrived. Shortly after, kid-friendly waster glasses and crayons/paper were brought. Deluxe! With the children occupied, we were able to relax and enjoy our celebration and felt that other restaurant patrons could enjoy their evening too!“
“I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience there. I had never been in before and went in yesterday for a late lunch. The service was prompt and helpful. I ordered three things, knowing I would take home leftovers. Everything was delicious. The tempura shrimp appetizer was done perfectly. The moo shu chicken was amazing. The only less than perfect thing was the broth on the wonton soup, as it seemed a little bland; today, however, it is very flavorful. I paid $35 for what is going to turn out to be at least three meals, possibly more. I will definitely go back.“
“The portions were great and the food was delicious. I was surprised by how much I liked the scallops. The toppings were generous too. I'd recommend it. Food prices have gone up everywhere, but it still seems like a pretty good deal here.“
“Had a fantastic first time experience at Pho Season! Samurai roll and tempura prawn roll were amazing starts! Number 2 Pho was delicious as was the Chicken vermicelli bowl! I brought it home and it smelled so good that we started eating before I remembered to take pictures.... So I will have to add some pics of this beautiful food on the next review. Definitely the best pho I've had in Port Orchard!!“
“Love going to Azuma as it’s one of the better Sushi restaurants in the West Seattle area. The owners/employees are very friendly and the food is good quality. Only downside is that Azuma has stayed “take out only” since COVID restrictions lifted. This would be fine if inflation didn’t make the prices skyrocket. Sadly, it’s hard to justify take out for such a high price. I would be much happier paying high prices for good sushi if we were able to sit down in the restaurant to be served and eat.“
“Pleasantly surprised with how good this place was! This was a last minute pick while out in Ballard. And happy we stumbled upon it.We got1: Spicy Sunburn Scallop Press Sushi 9/102: Unagi Temptation w/soy glaze 8.5/103: Spiced Girl 8/10We also got their warm sake, I liked it a lot!Ballard is a bit far for me, but if I’m out there again and hungry, I would definitely eat here again!“
“One of my favorite places to take folks. The view is stunning, the food is delicious from the lobster thermadore to the crab cakes and sushi. We haven’t had a single bad meal.Dietary restrictions: Options and adjustments made for allergies and recommendations given for which items would be best to adapt“
“Japanese cuisine your heart desires, trust me. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming with fresh aquatic aroma. Sushi bar seating offers a first glance of the sushi chefs who artistically and gracefully create each order. SUBI waitresses are efficient, kind and provide the VIP experience. I highly recommend!“
