The music soup was nice and not as thin as other places we've been to. I think my only complaint would be the broccoli piece in the tempura was so massive it was awkward to eat and soaked in too much batter, I would really recommend cutting it into a few smaller pieces. Other than that one thing, I thought it was a great dinner.“

It's just off the street from the main drag of Ballard and I've never had a wrong order in the 9 years I've been going here. Freshest fish I've had aside from one or two downtown spots!“

“My wife and I have eaten here nearly every week since they opened. The space can only accommodate a few folks as they are mainly a takeaway restaurant. We have never had a bad experience and this sushi restaurant is hopefully a staple of the Magnolia neighborhood for years to come.“

Basically, I shared a very pleasant $90+ meal with a couple friends. However, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm not well-practiced/educated in tipping because I've so rarely eaten out in all my life. I SEVERELY under-tipped them for this meal, and I just feel awful because it was AMAZING service on top of really decent sushi and better sashimi.“

“I’ve gotten take out a couple times now for dinner and I’ve always enjoyed the food! ☺️ My favorite is their beef teriyaki, my secret is mixing the rice with their salad dressing 🫣. Even though it is a bit expensive, the portion sizes last me two days.

It is a bit small and parking is sometimes hard but they make good use of the space. The servers are always very attentive, the one with mouth piercings was very kind and helped me understand the items on the menu. 😌

“The spicy chicken teriyaki is a delicious dish. Some of the best teriyaki I’ve had in Seattle and I’ve tried just about every spot. The Lion King roll is absolutely delicious as is their baked crab roll. A very nice group of folks running the establishment. “First I should say sushi is my favorite food. This place is the best sushi I have had in my entire life, my recommendation spicy crunchy California and bagel roll (if you like cream cheese please trust me it’s so good, even if you don’t maybe try it because you may start to like it!!) And the tempura roll is tasty. The tempura veggies also are a consistent order for me. Been going for 20 years now, and will always be back!!!“
