Went in for lunch today and had an excellent experience. Food was all delicious and Oliver was super friendly and the proper amount of attentive. Best service I’ve received at a restaurant in a long time. A little pricey but reasonable for the quality. Would return.
Sweetwater’s reputation is well deserved. In addition to the stellar food, they lean in with thoughtful ambiance, friendly and attentive staff, and a great playlist (and at perfect volume). Most people around me enjoyed wine but I had a delicious batched cocktail that was both creative and approachable. Sweetwater Tavern has a well-deserved reputation. The food is stellar, delicious, and incredible. The raw oysters are amazing, and the baked and grilled oysters are tasty. The sardine on toast is a favorite appetizer, and the salmon BLT and Steelhead BLT are cooked to perfection and amazing. The fries are loved, and the peanut butter tart is a must-try. The wings are tasty but a lot a heat. The craft cocktails are delicious, creative, and approachable, and the cocktail list is extensive. The service is awesome, friendly, and attentive. The staff are great, and the owners are present and generous with their time. The ambiance is thoughtful, with a great playlist at perfect volume. It is a bit loud inside, but sitting outside is preferred if the weather permits. It is a little pricey but reasonable for the quality. A great local option for lunch or happy hour.
