“The BEST stone fired margherita pizza I have had in my entire life. Cutting the pizza with scissors is such a fun and unique experience.I have eaten marg pizza at many different places in Winnipeg, the twin cities, and Costa Rica and this place takes the cake. Wonderfully cooked with a sauce that falls to none. A must stop when you are in the Seattle area.“
“They have a great, inexpensive, 2-slice lunch. Generous slices, yummy fresh pizza! It's a win-win!Dietary restrictions: They have great veggie choices, they have gluten- and dairy-free options, and they are all good!Parking: Parking can get busy mid-day, but there are always spaces, and accessible parking is ALWAYS available!“
“It was pretty good. I got the lobster ravioli and tiramisu. I loved the tiramisu. The ravioli surprised me... the flavor was good but the bowl was over packed with other vegetables that were not necessarily complimentary. While I really appreciated more vegetable, sometimes less is more. I’d love to try some of their other entrees.“
“There is a reason it can be hard to get a reservation at this restaurant. This is a special place. Hands down the best meal I've had in Seattle and some of the best Italian food I've had in the States. The service is top notch, as they go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied and cared for. Chef Katie really cares about the food that comes out of the kitchen and it shows. I highly recommend ordering a few dishes and sharing. Most dishes are perfect for two and you'll want to share in order to get a good sampling of the menu variety. You can tell a lot of heart goes into the food as it hits Italian comfort food spot on. Highly recommend the focaccia and you can't go wrong with any of the pastas, but I recommend the tagliatelle ragù if you're looking for something more traditional. The atmosphere is also a unique experience and makes you feel like you're coming home for family dinner. I highly recommend dining at Il Nido, you will not be disappointed.“
“best Italian i’ve had in Seattle! my husband and i have been here a handful of times and also recommend it to friends visiting! the staff has always been friendly and food is always so good! the bolognese is a favorite for a reason! i also don’t drink so the mocktails are my go too and they’re always good!“
“I have dined at this spot a few times now. The presentation of the food and the atmosphere are really top notch... But the portion sizes are on the smaller side and the food itself isn't necessarily 'BAD' but it does lack that special punch of flavor. I have had a lb burger that come out with a soggy bottom bun. And a Salmon dish that had a pretty bland carb base in it. My partner was a little disappointed specifically with the pasta portion sizes , some of them can be just a handful of ravioli... Just be aware.“
“Dined in with family for dinner. There was quite some wait time, the restaurant was very busy. However, the wait was totally worth it. We did the lamb and margarita pizzas with some sides and drinks. The pizzas were really good, light and thin, crispy on the edges and soft on the inside, and had burst flavors. The service was good, very hospitable. The ambience is decent, a little noisy and cramped for sure. It’s definitely worth a try.“
“Eat local. Read a great review of Sogno. We wanted Italian tonight. Made a reservation and journeyed to Poulsbo. Great Barolo wine. Wanted to taste three different entrees so had linguine Bolognese, chicken Marsala and the risotto of the day (mushroom and leaks). Each dish was excellent. Our wait person Rachel was superb and shared some of the recent history of the restaurant. She recommended a great Amaro. Wonderful evening out with my bride.Parking: Close to free public parking.“
“Over the course of about three years my wife and I have had many meals and all were great. First couple we had pasta dishes then we ordered pizza delivery about three times and most recently dined in for pizza. The space is really cozy the staff is kind and personable which I love and food is great. Gem of a place! Love it!“
“We really liked eating at this place as the food was delicious. Really good authentic Italian food made from scratch. The place itself is in sort of a shopping center, and it has a main entry area that sort of like a store. There’s also an outdoor area that’s shaded pretty nicely. Lots of artificial plants although some are natural living plants, but it looks good. The store has all kinds of cool little items for sale from authentic foods and ingredients to drinks and more. The customer service was OK. They were nice, but not as friendly or accommodating as we hoped. The food on the other hand hits the spot. We really enjoyed the meals with a glass of wine. I recommend this place to others who are looking for great Italian food.“
