“We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and highly recommend it to others, especially families with young children! The food was outstanding—my shrimp scampi was absolutely delicious, and I couldn't get enough of it. The shrimp was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. We also shared a Caesar salad, which was equally delightful with an amazing dressing. The drinks were spot-on, and the kids really enjoyed the server, who was exceptionally kind and friendly with them.“

Great crust, loaded with good toppings, yummy cheese. Side salad was also great. Breadsticks weren’t our favorites but not bad. Staff was quick and helpful. Excellent experience!“

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here, with every dish delivering on flavor. We started with the house focaccia, prosciutto, and burrata, followed by the Neah Bay king salmon, mafaldine, and tagliatelle. Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. And save room for dessert—the tiramisu and cheesecake were both divine!

The service was excellent, and the setting is just as lovely. Housed in a converted home near Alki, Il Nido has a warm, intimate atmosphere that makes it perfect for a special occasion or a memorable dinner out.

Make sure to book a reservation, as walk-in availability may be limited. It’s not an everyday casual meal, but the quality of the food and the overall experience make it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!“

They even cater to special dietary requirements and do a vegan pizza with actual vegan cheese (rather than just the bland stuff you’d normally get in most places), and their wholewheat crust is to die for! “the vibe inside is really homey. the price point is great. I was able to comfortably order a few things to try. I also think the portions were good. the duck ragu was very good. I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good. the carbonara I didn't care for, I didn't finish it. it didn't taste quite balanced. also my pasta was under cooked. I checked to see if maybe I was given buccatini on accident but no, it was just underdone spaghetti. overall, I'll try it again. my experience I think was good for a first visit“

Not every place will do that, do that's awesome. give amount of toppings. chicken layered 4 slices thick on the chicken bacon Alfredo side, whole cloves of roasted garlic, covered with bacon. perfectly cooked. simply awesome! We also ordered chicken Alfredo pasta and addedI bacon. It was great also. and also had a ton of chicken in it. probably 50/50 chicken to pasta ratio. the pasta came with a piece of garlic bread that was ok and a nice fresh side salad. We will definitely go back!“

“This place is fantastic. Been here quite a few times since they’ve opened and they’ve done a great job of updating and adapting to their clientele. Very chill during the daytime and a great place to hang out and chat with the friendly bartenders. Delicious food with lots of variety, and great drinks as well.

Later at night, especially the weekends, gets very fun. They bring in excellent artists for live DJ sets and are a great avenue for local talent to showcase their skills. It’s young and clubby, but still very inclusive of anyone and everyone.

Very excited to see this place evolve and continue to grow in the coming years. One of the best bars to visit in Seattle right now and I expect great things in their future!“

“The manager here is completely rude to his customers and his staff. Refuses to refund or replace and item made incorrectly. Just terrible customer service. Think twice before giving your money to such a terrible person. Read many other reviews that talk about how the staff here is treated. The food is mediocre at best, but even of it was better, service matters. I'd encourage the owners to think about how they treat people and how they would like to be treated as a customer when the business was at fault. Disgusting. There were mushrooms sent to a kid with an allergy when it was clearly noted on the order to leave them off, there was a hair in the pizza. I would encourage the owner to take a class in customer service and learn to do what is right instead of being rude and snarky.“
