“The best Italian food in Seattle. The focaccia is probably the best bread I’ve ever had. The heirloom tomato and nectarine marinara is a revelation. I can’t wait to go back.“

“Authentic, fresh, and entirely delicious. The homemade cannelloni pasta noodles and filling were absolute perfection! Fantastic marinara! And the pizza… amazing. So much for leftovers! And I haven’t even mentioned the kindness of all of the staff. Can’t wait to come back to this gem!“

“Cool vibe, and the live-fire was great. Service nice and ultrafast. Coffee, like usual at Starbucks, good but not excellent. Only thing I disliked were the unisex bathrooms, I get the idea, but I just couldn't feel very confident on it. My opinion only.“

“Great food, tasty drinks, excellent service! Had the caesar salad, peperonata (that sauce was on point!) shared a pizza- great crust and toppings, shared some spaghetti n meatballs…not like what your mama used to make. My old fashioned was perfectly balanced. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Give this place a shot if you haven’t!“

“We had a great experience. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Our pizzas were very fresh and the funghi pizza was excellent. We got to try an "orange" wine and it was different but very light and actually got rid of my headache. Nice folks.“

“the vibe inside is really homey. the price point is great. I was able to comfortably order a few things to try. I also think the portions were good. the duck ragu was very good. I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good. the carbonara I didn't care for, I didn't finish it. it didn't taste quite balanced. also my pasta was under cooked. I checked to see if maybe I was given buccatini on accident but no, it was just underdone spaghetti. overall, I'll try it again. my experience I think was good for a first visit“

“Best pizza I’ve had in the US. We actually ate so much it was ridiculous ;) The mushroom and fontina is insanely good. Well, so are the others. And yes, I was invited there and got to learn about pizza, the dough is a wonder. Gave me a whole new guiding light for what it should be like!“

“Charmingly tucked away in Pike Place Market's atrium, you might side-eye the lofty pasta prices for counter-style service, just like I did, until... BAM! You just ate the freshest pasta with height of the season specialized ingredients. You know, like they do in Italy, and it's worth every penny. Have you ever had a walnut pesto with sauteed fiddlehead ferns, leeks, and aleppo pepper flakes? I can't say enough good things about how amazing it was and you get to watch the very cool, friendly crew make everything in the open kitchen. I did pass on the $14 wine pour because that's not right for lunch. That would get me a whole carafe in Italy.“

“Very nice atmosphere at this location which is nestled inside of the 'Starbucks Reserve Roastery' building, solid bakery goods are offered here at semi-reasonable prices, and the place has an upper class environment and decor.
Staff can be very busy sometimes as the place is often very crowded with tourists and commutera alike, as this is a Flagship starbucks location with a little bakery/cafe nestled inside.
Prices are semi-reasonable although not the best for consistent visits. Altogether I would say this is a place to stop to treat yourself, but not an everyday place.
Coffee is available through starbucks at the other side of their shared building.
Vegetarian options: They have vegan and vegetarian options, although not a large number of them.
Parking: The location is difficult to find parking at due to proximity to a large amount of other high traffic businesses on the southwestern side of Capitol Hill, but it's rather accessible via public transit and by foot.
Kid-friendliness: I would refrain from taking small children here, and would try not to take anyone who isn't 16+ as the environment is difficult due to how busy it tends to be.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accesibility is solidly available at this location. They have wheelchair accessible doors and transit between upper and lower floors.“

“This is a stunning place to get a meal to cook at home, to take to the beach for a picnic, or hang out in their small lounge for an Italian happy hour. I absolutely love all the food. I have tried a lot of it at La Spiga, but there is stuff that you can get here that you can’t get at La Spiga. Everything comes in a perfect size and all the accompaniments you could think of are here. I have catered full on parties with items I’ve gotten from here and the reviews are always rave. People always ask me where they can get the food, and I tell them La Dispensa! It doesn’t hurt that it is located in the absolutely adorable Chophouse Row building in Capitol Hill.
Vegetarian options: Lots of great vegetarian options
Dietary restrictions: You can get gluten free and vegan options here
Parking: Parking is terrible but pickup is easy w a priority pick up space w a 30 minute limit
Kid-friendliness: Kids LIVE La Dispensa
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible through chophouse row“

“With restaurant prices in Seattle so high, my husband and I are very particular about when, where and why we go out, so we tend to have very high expectations when we do go out. Last night was my husband’s birthday and we chose to give Lioness a try. We had a fabulous time! The service was perfect, our servers were so nice and perfectly attentive without hovering. I ordered the Lioness martini, and at $25, I was expecting something out of this world. It delivered! We ordered the burrata, Billy’s tomatoes, gem lettuces and the cavatelli pasta. Each dish was fantastic! There have been reviews complaining that you only get one slice of bread with the burrata, but the slice was big, thick and perfectly toasted, it was plenty for sharing the dish! The tomatoes had a nice spice, chili oil? Beautifully balanced. The gem lettuce salad was delicious, again a good balance between the nuttiness of roasted hazelnut in the vinaigrette and the salty creaminess of the grated cheese on top, The cavatelli was my least favorite, the pasta was a bit heavy for the sauce, I felt that a spaghetti or angel hair, being more delicate, would have been better with the fantastic sauce, but it was still delicious! We finished the meal with the chocolate cake, a beautiful sweet but not too sweet ending to a great meal. When you are spending over $200 for two, you want it to be worth it and our experience at Lioness was. Thank you Renee and you wonderful staff!“

“Tavolata Belltown in Seattle is, in our opinion, the best Italian restaurant north of Denver and west of Yellowstone National Park. Here the pasta is 'al dente' and the sugo tastes so great, as if we were in Italy. Pecorino is obviously more popular here than Parmigiano, but I also like it very much. The service is also very friendly and attentive. OK, the background music is a bit loud and not very Italian. But what the heck: The restaurant is modern, young people like to come here, so that's just how it is.“

“Delicious Pizza!! They grabbed me with the deep dish style pizza. i started following their Instagram so i could see what was going on. over the last few years i would order a pizza from them when in the area… a few special trips just because. Now just recently I started seeing Tavern Style pizza show up on the instagram. Started with photos from other places and then Windy City pie puts tavern on their menu! i wanted to try it since it became available and finally decided to make it part of my pre game for a saturday Mariners game. if thin crisp crust is not your thing then stick with the deep dish! it continues to amaze! If you like the thin crisp pizza try the tavern. it is not just any pizza it is special. the crust is thin uniform and crisp through out the pizza. the toppings are high quality and the sauce is something out of this world! I ate about half and took the rest home to share with my wife. thought i would be able to share our reheat but it didn’t get past the cold pizza phase… this has to be the very best cold pizza i can remember! So good we didn’t take the time to heat back up we just downed it! Check them out! really great pizza on 2 ends of the pizza spectrum!“

“The manager here is completely rude to his customers and his staff. Refuses to refund or replace and item made incorrectly. Just terrible customer service. Think twice before giving your money to such a terrible person. Read many other reviews that talk about how the staff here is treated. The food is mediocre at best, but even of it was better, service matters. I'd encourage the owners to think about how they treat people and how they would like to be treated as a customer when the business was at fault. Disgusting. There were mushrooms sent to a kid with an allergy when it was clearly noted on the order to leave them off, there was a hair in the pizza. I would encourage the owner to take a class in customer service and learn to do what is right instead of being rude and snarky.“

“I live very close and didn’t come here for some time because I wasn’t too excited about the menu, but boy was I wrong! The spicy sheep cheese/coppa with spicy aioli added is my favorite. Truly delicious I could eat here multiple times per week.“

“Nice space inside Seattle Convention Center Summit. We made a reservation, as we had tickets to a show across the street at Paramount theater. Nice spot to grab a bite before a show. Service was nice, they were very attentive when we first got seated. After awhile, it's like they forgot about folks sitting outside. We ordered another round of drinks at 6 and it took almsot 20mins to get them... they weren't that busy. We ordered the mule and a shrub. Both drinks were good. We also ordered their Bomba pizza. It was pretty good. Needed more hot honey as you don't really taste it. Overall not bad flavor. Again, good spot to hit happy hour before a show at the Paramount theater“

“The ONLY place for pizza. Reminds me of the pizza I had in Rome. My preference is the Ballard location. The pizza crust is cracker thin, crunchy and has the smoke essence of the wood burning stove. I made a special trip during evening rush hour for hubby's birthday. I live in West Seattle. Pizza was outstanding as always and my hubby got a surprise message. Did I mention that the pizza was soooooooooooo delicious. We pick up a couple large pizzas to reheat slices and eat later. Check out the photo!“

“Fun, trendy atmosphere with a different live act every night. Unfortunately, the music was very loud (bordering on too loud) in the front room and not audible in the back. The mushroom pasta was a little too salty for me, but I highly recommend the lasagna, which was light and airy and topped with a thin layer of tomato sauce. The bread pudding and crème brûlée were also great“

“My family and I regularly go to the Ballard Farmers’ Market and get pizza slices from Vespucci, a pizza vendor with the best pizza in Seattle - hands down. When we found out that they had an Italian restaurant we knew we just had to go. And so we did. All I can say is that the food is some of the best I have ever had, and you just need to try it out for yourself because the whole experience is amazing.“

“We recently got married and had a brunch wedding—leaving our wedding dinner plans open. We decided to go to Il Nido for our first dinner as a married couple and what a wonderful decision it was! We were so warmly welcomed, treated to complimentary bubbles, had the kindest people serving us and all of the food was delicious. This will now be our anniversary tradition. Thank you, Il Nido!“
