We had an absolutely fantastic meal here, with every dish delivering on flavor. We started with the house focaccia, prosciutto, and burrata, followed by the Neah Bay king salmon, mafaldine, and tagliatelle. Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. And save room for dessert—the tiramisu and cheesecake were both divine!

The service was excellent, and the setting is just as lovely. Housed in a converted home near Alki, Il Nido has a warm, intimate atmosphere that makes it perfect for a special occasion or a memorable dinner out.

Make sure to book a reservation, as walk-in availability may be limited. It’s not an everyday casual meal, but the quality of the food and the overall experience make it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!“

“Our meal at Cinque Terre was amazing. That was seriously some of the best pesto I've ever had. My husband's boar pasta had plenty of meat in the sauce. The pasta was fresh. And they even had some good mocktails - as a non-drinker, I appreciate when a restaurant takes the time to create drinks that make me feel welcomed. The atmosphere was peaceful - not too loud in any way. I would absolutely recommend this place“

You just ate the freshest pasta with height of the season specialized ingredients. You know, like they do in Italy, and it's worth every penny. “For over 20 years we have enjoyed every meal on the menu. They are the only restaurant that I know that make their own pastas, sauces, bread, and desserts. What a difference that makes. Everything is fresh tasting and satisfying. The meatballs are so light and tasty, eat them slowly to enjoy every bite. Not only are their pastas and pizzas delicious so are their appetizers. I love how they roast their eggplant and they serve it in an incredibly rich tomato sauce with Gorgonzola on the side. We enjoyed a recent meal there and had the pleasure of meeting Rodrigo, the owner who took over two and a half years ago. His passion for Sicilian food is evident in every dish. For our main course, we savored the tortellini cefalu, fettuccine ai funghi, and fettuccine al pesto, all cooked with high-quality ingredient were extremely delicious. I checked to see if maybe I was given buccatini on accident but no, it was just underdone spaghetti. overall, I'll try it again. my experience I think was good for a first visit“

“Assaggio Ristorante is a fine dining Italian restaurant perfect for a date-night meal. It radiates a formal vibe with top-tier service and traditionally prepared classics.

Unfortunately, there's nothing revelatory here. You're getting Italian standards - at a premium price. For tablecloths and attentive service it's pleasant, but my dining companion and I both agreed we can (and do) make these dishes for a fraction of the price at home, as well or better. Still, it's nice to pay someone else to cook once and a while.

Every bite was balanced and delicious in a cute space. Downside for older guests is the unmanned Kiosk to order. No opportunity to ask about the sandwiches and then after ordering yourself the kiosk asks for a tip! And parking, however, was nearly impossible. We ended up in a garage that cost more than the sandwich itself. Still, the food was excellent — just go when you have patience (or a chauffeur).“

“Upscale Italian. Tulio is a dark and cozy vintage feeling Italian restaurant. The staff are young and hip. They go out of their way to create an upscale experience. The portions are not overly large but well cooked and plated. The wine was good, steaks were well cooked and desserts weren't too sweet.“

“Every single review before this doesn’t mean anything. This was hands down the best meal I’ve had in Seattle to date. You can do anything here, Thursday night football? Sure. Friday date night? Sure. Pizza, pasta, everything is homemade. We had this pea pasta INSANE. TOMATO SALAD COMMON BUT THE CHICKEN PARM THAT WAS LIGHT BUT HEAVY ARE YOU SERIOUS. Brandon & Grace just take such good care of you. If you have a bad item or time here it’s honestly because you’re having a bad day. They grabbed me with the deep dish style pizza. i started following their Instagram so i could see what was going on. over the last few years i would order a pizza from them when in the area… a few special trips just because. Now just recently I started seeing Tavern Style pizza show up on the instagram. Started with photos from other places and then Windy City pie puts tavern on their menu! i wanted to try it since it became available and finally decided to make it part of my pre game for a saturday Mariners game. if thin crisp crust is not your thing then stick with the deep dish! it continues to amaze! If you like the thin crisp pizza try the tavern. it is not just any pizza it is special. the crust is thin uniform and crisp through out the pizza. the toppings are high quality and the sauce is something out of this world! I ate about half and took the rest home to share with my wife. thought i would be able to share our reheat but it didn’t get past the cold pizza phase… this has to be the very best cold pizza i can remember! So good we didn’t take the time to heat back up we just downed it! Check them out! really great pizza on 2 ends of the pizza spectrum!“
