the vibe inside is really homey. the price point is great. I was able to comfortably order a few things to try. I also think the portions were good.
the duck ragu was very good. I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good.

Delicious food and friendly staff! I wish I had gotten her name, but the lady working the register was so helpful when she found out it was our first time dining at the restaurant and kindly explained everything to us. I got the short rib ragu with the side salad and tiramisu for dessert and everything was yummy!

Due' Cucina Italian Restaurant - Capitol Hill is a cozy, quick spot for pasta on the hill. This is a great concept where guests pick their sauce and pasta shape separately. Genuinely one of the best Carbonaras outside of Italy, the guanciale is properly crispy, the spaghetti cooked exactly where it needs to be, and the sauce has a rich, glossy consistency. Everything is made in-house. The white truffle and mushroom sauce is always a hit, with the short rib ragu coming in a very close second. The Mushroom & White Truffle Oil pasta and the Basil Pesto pasta are both delicious and feel fresh. The pasta is cooked perfectly, well sauced. The casual atmosphere is lovely, service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is budget-friendly, perfect for families, and very kid-friendly, making it a stress-free stop for a family meal. Take out is usually ready in 10 minutes or less and it is the freshest.
