About Salumi

Salumi offers delicious sandwiches with quality meats and fresh cheese between two buns. Although a bit pricey, the ciabatta bread absorbs dressing well, making it a tidy lunch option. The Grindhouse sandwich impresses with its perfect balance of flavors, including meat, cheese, pickles, and mustard. With a history of making great cured meats, this spot still rocks after two decades, making it worth a try. Customers have recently praised the Meatball sub as pretty delicious, highlighting the smart choice of having marinara sauce on the side to avoid sogginess. Salumi is known for its handcrafted kitchen, serving a variety of authentic, handcrafted salami and pepperoni made from all-natural, antibiotic-free U.S. pork. The sandwiches feature complex layers of flavor that come together harmoniously, offering a satisfying and hearty bite. While the seating is limited, the option to customize sandwiches and the availability of great house sandwiches, both hot and cold, make it a good spot to check out. Just be warned, they sell out easily, especially on busy weekends.

Fantastic sandwiches — but be prepared to hunt for parking. We ordered the Grindhouse, a Mortadella, classic Salami, stacked with Dijon mustard, mayo, shredded iceberg, house made dill pickles, provolone, and a bright red wine vinaigrette, all on a perfectly chewy demi baguette. Every bite was balanced and delicious in a cute space.

Downside for older guests is the unmanned Kiosk to order. No opportunity to ask about the sandwiches and then after ordering yourself...read full review

I got a sandwich(which was delicious), but the bread was SO hard to bite through all the toppings squished out the side. I would go back, but get it in a bowl with no bread.

While our sandwiches were very good, the person making the sandwiches was not very friendly. We left with a feeling that were were a nuisance rather than a customer. We will not return.
