Many said they would return at some time for dinner. We planned this out of state and Lynn answered all of are questions quickly. We could not have had this type of personalized service in a typical restaurant.”

My wife couldn't make it this time, so I can't personally vouch for their celiac or gluten-free options on this visit, but everything else was fantastic. “The entrance to the door is so amazing with a well lit alley way and a welcoming presence. Then, once in the door, the staff was attentive and incredibly kind. Even with a chaotic environment due to another event occurring in town, the staff remained calm and organized. And the food!!! One of the best margaritas I’ve had in years and the presentation was perfect. The carne asada was cooked to perfection with amazing sides. I would absolutely recommend this place for a cozy, comfortable and customer oriented small business and will absolutely be back again! Thank you!”

I stopped in and ordered the creamy beet and apple soup and listen, this is not a “beets are controversial” situation. This is silky, slightly sweet, perfectly balanced, soul-warming goodness. Earthy without tasting like you’re hugging a root cellar. The apple brightens it up just enough, and the creaminess ties it all together like a cozy scarf you didn’t know you needed. Add the fresh bread and butter on the side and suddenly I’m rethinking all my life choices that didn’t involve this soup sooner.

And then there was my favorite companion: a matcha oat milk latte with orange zest. Clean, smooth matcha flavor, creamy oat milk, and that little citrus pop from the orange zest? Chef’s kiss. It’s the kind of drink that makes you pause mid-sip and stare thoughtfully out a window like you’re in an indie film set in the Pacific Northwest. ☕🍊

Everything about this meal felt intentional, comforting, and quietly elevated. No fuss. Just really good food made with care. If you’re in Poulsbo and want something that feels nourishing and indulgent without being heavy: this is your spot.

It’s no-frills, nothing fancy and was an experience I won’t soon forget. It has indoor and outdoor seating, a pool table and a bar cat named Willie (he was outside sunning himself when we arrived). Fun little stop in Lofall!”

“There is nothing rude or uncomfortable about the service, it's just very brief and efficient. I enjoy it, because I can be out of there quickly.

I don't deviate much from three items: chicken katsu (I like the flavor of their peanut oil), veggie Hong Kong noodles (they are extra generous with the veggie option and the aromatics are more fragrant), and egg rolls.

Sometimes I just get egg rolls. They are SO GOOD, and, they're generous.

That being said, I actually don't like the teriyaki at Chung's Teriyaki. 😶”

The food was alright but the seating area was really dirty. Not the nicest place to sit and eat so we gathered our food and left.”
