My in-laws had ordered a krumsekake (Norwegian wedding cake) for their 50th anniversary, and I was charged with picking it up. During transport it fell against the side of the box and the frosting was ruined. I panicked and called them to see if there was anything they could do to help me… they completely saved the day, fixed the frosting, and it looked perfect for the party!!! Best. Bakery. Ever.

I’ve been local to Sluys for over a decade and always love visiting. I introduce everyone who visits from out of town to them and they never disappoint. One of our friends who visited almost 8 years ago remembered going to Sluys and made a point to go back!
