“Great grilled cheese sandwich, salad, potato salad, and desserts. Folks working there were nice and helpful in deciding what to get to eat. They were short on number of indoor places to sit, but there is nice seating just outside. Great experience.”
“Juicy J’s was incredible. We showed up right at closing and instead of turning us away, the made us an incredible meal. The burger is one of the best I have had (plant based or not). You gotta give these folks a try!”
“Delicious food, my hubs lived in India for a year and is always looking for a place that stacks up to the food he had there - this is the first place in Kitsap he found that passes his bar!”
“I saw this place on Seattle Refined and had to make the trip! Flavorful fresh and affordable! I had rice, Mac and bay scallops! This place is amazing.. my first poke bowl and it did not ”
“Take away food that is wholesome, flavorful, and filling. Don't waste your money on corporate junk fast food. The Saucy Sailor is a restorative that will return you to health and vigor.”
“Just hard to find parking. Found my handicap spot, though. It's rough seeing people run across Viking in the dark... everything else, including the Live Mic, was awesome.”
“This is a staple of our weekly dining here in Kingston :) So grateful for Los Tres Compadres, their delicious tacos (especially carnitas!) and their super friendly and lovely staff. Will keep coming here often!”
“Love Sluys. It's a must stop if you're on Front Street. Amazing selection of baked goods and pricing is pretty reasonable. Service is always friendly. There is usually a line, but it's worth the wait.”
“The barista made me a half sweet mocha, and he stated he added some additional cocoa to it so that it had rich flavor without being too sweet. It was perfect!! The best mocha I’ve ever had! This shop is cozy, has fantastic customer service, and makes great coffee. I will definitely be returning!”
“Great breakfast here. Had the egg sammie and a tasty maple matcha. The pastry I shared was also super good, a sort of cardamom twist with chocolate. Parking is limited, as is seating, but they are very quick in there.”
“Best cider I have ever had. The owners and staff make you feel like family. We love open mic, Karaoke on Sat, and trivia on Sunday. The special events are fun and there are events for all. Bring the children this is a family place. Come out and feed the animals. They have food trucks and special dinners. Friday is live music and some of the best local musicians in this area. The Valentine's dinner was first class and so good. We love this place and the people who we have grown to know as family.”
“Ate there a couple weeks ago and had the special. Which was the tomato soup and grilled cheese, don’t tell my mom but it blew hers out of the water. Took a couple frozen to go meals as well. They both were amazing. Amazing food and staff. Can’t wait to go back and try more.”
“I haven't been here in years and I am glad I came back. The food is crazy good, the staff are friendly and professional, and the prices are great too. I am glad when I go on break, I can come just 2 minutes down the road and relax here and eat good food.”
“Got the roasted red pepper and hummus on foccacia asked instead of cheese to add sauerkraut they said sure!!!!! Best sandwich ? ? ? ? Ive had in a really long time. Thank you gals your the best and so nice ? Love this spot. little pond is the best with running water sound so peaceful!!!”
“After hearing a myriad reviews, and walking by this place a few times - we had to give it a try. The place is small, but we didn't have to wait long for seats. Chips & salsa quickly brought out. Ordered a couple of Margaritas, took ~15+ mins to get those. Our chips & salsa were replenished and orders taken.Chile relleno & tacos ordered came pretty quickly. If they had gotten the marg order out quickly, probably would have ordered another round. We had Cadillacs ($16)...a little pricey, but strong. Pick up the service, and this place would get great marks.”
“I love Rainy Daze and the Here To Party Pilsner. Britney and Asha are always so fun to be around and welcome my toddler in. My favorite place to stop by after work with my dogs and there’s always a good food truck close by”
“We showed up on the late evening side and the place was a bit busy we were seated within 5 minutes and staff was great. Food quality was spot on. Love going here!”
“This place has “Bueno” food, offering authentic Mexican dishes. The environment is very casual, but the service does not disappoint! Check them out, you won’t regret it!”
“No amount of stars will convey how amazing Mama's Armenian Kitchen is, nor how genuine and kind the two owners are. I hesitate posting this review, as any small change put into the universe may lessen the perfect balance struck by this cozy bakery. Not only does the food exceed any number of world class bakeries, the owners are poetic and warm reminder to be patient and kind.”
“There is a nice park on the water in Poulsbo where I like to hang out. I can sail into the marina, people watch in the park and browse the cool stuff at Longship Marine. At some point during my visit, I like to walk over to the main street and pop into Hot Shots Java for a 20 ounce latte. On a busy day, the staff is efficient and polite. On a slow day, they are fun to talk with while they brew up a tasty coffee. The tables in the front area are almost always occupied, so I head down the ramp in the back to sit in one of the wicker chairs in the little alcove down there. I have to plug my computer into an extension cord and balance the machine on my lap and put my coffee on one of the small tables besides the chairs. Once I am settled in, I have a nice quiet place to write and sip coffee. I’m not sure why, but this area is unpopular, so I often have it all to myself. Before I can start on my coffee, I have to eat the little chocolate covered coffee bean that is served with every drink. I have mixed feelings about this treat. The flavor is delicious - chocolate and coffee go perfectly together. At first, the texture is nice - soft chocolate with a crunch of coffee bean in the middle. Things go downhill after that - bits of coffee bean stay in my mouth and lodge uncomfortably in the spaces between my teeth. It takes me an hour or so to drink my coffee and finish up the writing task I have set for myself. There is good WiFi, so if I finish work early, I can surf the internet easily. When my coffee is done, I pack up, toss my garbage and head out. If I have done good work, I reward myself by going across the street and getting in line at Sluy’s for a sweet pastry treat. Otherwise, I walk along the shoreline to come up with better ideas for next time.”
“This was the best breakfast ever 10/10 you got to come if you want to say you have really lived . Ps the loggers omelet is big but it is amazing like two meals in one ?Kid-friendliness: It's a small place so they really can't go any where but in all it is a really nice place”
“I want to give a major shout out to Angela, her mom, and the entire team at Cake Studio Panaderia Mexicana off of Viking Way in Poulsbo. They went above and beyond to help me put my Valentine's Day plan into action and create an incredible memorable experience for my wife that I am very grateful for. This year I got a head start on Valentine's Day and set a plan in motion a few weeks back. I reached out to our local Mexican panaderia in Poulsbo, to see if they could help me craft a bouquet of flowers filled with fresh Mexican conchas. If you don't know what a concha is, that's okay. It's a sweet bread that is perfect with coffee. My wife loves them so much she even has earrings of them.Angela at Cake Studios Panaderia, was just as excited as I was to put this idea in motion. The morning of Valentine's Day, I dropped off several bouquets that she and her mom then crafted with freshly made conches tailored to color match from their bakery into this outstanding concha flower arrangement. My wife had no idea what I was bringing back to her and she kept her eyes closed and when she opened them the surprise was fantastic. I'm happy I remembered capture on camera.Thank you Angela and the amazing team at Cake Studio Panaderia Mexicana for making such a delightful Valentine's Day possible.”
“This place is phenomenal! The drinks, food, and service are unmatched!Everyone who works here is so friendly and it is a joy to go through. One time, I forgot my wallet going through and I was just going to move on with my day. She told me to not worry and to pay her back next time! We love Nordic :)”
“Great staff & great beers. Consistent & you always know what you're going to get. It can be a bit cold inside during the the fall/winter months but otherwise an excellent place for a beer. Light snacks are available and you're able to bring in your own food. Good place to unwind.”
“Excellent food and friendly owner/operators. Finally was hungry at the right time and place to try it. The smoked brisket pancit is I wish I'd looked more into them before; I'm confident that leftovers will be incredible too!Vegetarian options: Many customizable dishes to be veggie only, or tofu.Wheelchair accessibility: Food truck and they park smart, wheelchair users should have no trouble accessing the order window. As with most foodtrucks, the window is fairly high up so be prepared for that.”
“Eat local. Read a great review of Sogno. We wanted Italian tonight. Made a reservation and journeyed to Poulsbo. Great Barolo wine. Wanted to taste three different entrees so had linguine Bolognese, chicken Marsala and the risotto of the day (mushroom and leaks). Each dish was excellent. Our wait person Rachel was superb and shared some of the recent history of the restaurant. She recommended a great Amaro. Wonderful evening out with my bride.Parking: Close to free public parking.”
“I absolutely adored this little coffee stand, I came with a time that wasn't very busy and we sat and chatted with the barista who was so friendly. The coffee was excellent!!”
“My wife had combo that included one of the best tamales we’ve had since living in Washington! I ordered the Molcajete Fajita that was absolutely amazing!! So worth the drive from Port Townsend!!! Our new favorite place for authentic Mexican cuisine!!!”
“So...where shall I start...especially when I'm 4 Guinness nitro and 1 house ale in. Had their salmon chowder and their special of grilled swordfish...AMAZING...and that's not the beers talking. Food and atmosphere is PERFECT! if you're ever in the Kingston area and you just get off the ferry...YOU MUST STOP HERE. Besides...you just got here and it's close by. The people here are top notch nice beyond words and the food quality, taste, presentation (if that's a thing at an alehouse) is astounding! DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE DESSERT!!!”
“Clean, bright house converted to tap room and bottle shop. Fine selection of beers PLUS wonderful small selection of international wines served by the glass and sold by bottle to go. Limited, but quality, menu of light dishes. Not a lunch stop, but a great wine stop. Nestled in a very small, quaint town on the mouth of the Hoid Canal. Waterfront 2 blocks away.”
