“This is a Mexican food truck, but it is tucked away behind the cannabis store. You could see it as your zooming down the highway but today I remembered it. After I got off work I had a hankering for some real homemade taquitos. They have them and they are very good. They are made fresh right there. They also come with rice and beans a little bit of their homemade guacamole and some sour cream. They have a lot on their menu. Growing up in Los Angeles and also living in Ensenada I crave to have real Mexican food, which is hard to find around here on Whidbey Island. Especially on the south end. So I’m happy I stopped and tried them and now I won’t forget that they’re there.”

“Yum! We ordered 7 different things from the new Barnyard and every single one of them was delicious. I especially loved the pork belly bahn mi, but the pulled pork, chicken, hot dogs, tots and potato salad were all delicious. Also, the prices are reasonable considering how astronomical some restaurants prices have recently become. The vibe was warm and family-friendly, there are some games available and of course fire pits outside. Many beers and ciders on tap, all local, also at fair prices. We will most certainly be back.”

“Went here late after a wine tasting. Got it to go. Service was quick and easy. We ordered the cashew chicken, broccoli beef, and pot stickers. All was very tasty. Serving sizes were a good amount. Perfect for what we needed, which was good food a bit later at night. Would absolutely go again!”

“We had some snacks this week with a group of friends. Delicious homemade cobbler served with ice cream. Good coffee. And some perfect delicately crisp fries. \nThis place is our favorite local hangout. Good food, really nice staff. A great summer patio in front and good bar in back. The dining room is spacious, cozy, and bright. The staff friendly and accommodating, and the super BLT will knock your socks off. \nYou can tell if the kitchen is clean by the state of the bathroom; this place is absolutely immaculate, right down to the corners of the floor. \nClean, delicious food, lovely staff and ambiance. What could be better?”

“The food always hits the spot! Try to get there early for the Villabilly at breakfast or for lunch I recommend a sandwich. Very large portions are big enough for 2- I always share with my hubby or end up taking the other half for leftovers. It’s the only restaurant in the area and you can’t beat the view. Support local!”

Excellent wine and the chocolate cake paired with the Madera was excellent. Atmosphere is chic cozy almost lounge like with a great water view. We will definitely be back! Cheers!!”

“The food was delicious, it's worth the stop while being on the island at some point. I ordered a ceaser salad with some bacon, and the ravioli special. Both were quite good. Simple though, it's really a nothing fancy kind of place but with good food and kind people and uh kinda fancy?¿ I wouldn't give the inside of the restaurant too much praise on looks, but the lights around the whole property were all quite beautiful. I hope they keep them a glow as long as possible. It was late and not much was open, so we didn't explore. As I understand it there are a lot of little shops around the whole premises along with a nursery and more... all rather lovely where folks would think it wonderful atmosphere. I just didn't get to expirence much more than the Taproom, which I definitely recommend.”
