The cafe next door that serves their coffee was closed for remodel so we weren't able to sit and enjoy the coffee. We purchased a few bags and made a quick trip of it. The place is not much of a mercantile as it really just sells branded coffee merch.
I told my friend who lives in Clinton that I love coffee and they recommended this place. I went to check it out, and it was fantastic. Since I live in Japan,I don't get to visit often, but I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Whidbey.

Mukilteo Coffee Roasters & Mercantile is a must-visit destination. This charming spot serves delicious food, freshly baked bread and pastries, and some of the best coffee in the PNW. The roastery offers top-notch service, and the staff is fantastic and always smiling. Enjoy a quiet cup of amazing coffee, a Caesar Wrap, or a sweet treat like a strawberry/blueberry danish in a perfect atmosphere. During the summer, bring your dog and sit out in the back patio.
