“They helped with getting us a few kegs for our local wedding. Cathy was very helpful and they offered up the full selection of kegs, provided bins for ice and taps with a deposit. Great to work with!”
“Convergence Coffee Co. stands out as my top choice for coffee in the Chimacum area, offering an unparalleled coffee experience. Not only is the coffee itself outstanding in flavor and quality, but the baristas also ensure it's served at the perfect, drinkable temperature every time. Additionally, the food selection is impressive, catering wonderfully to those of us looking for delicious, on-the-go options to start our day or fuel our afternoons. Whether you're in need of a caffeine fix or a quick, satisfying meal, Convergence Coffee Co. consistently delivers excellence.”
“With it being pie day tomorrow I wanted to stop in and grab a few pies to take home. Unfortunately they were sold out of any cherry, and only had a few individual slices of chocolate cream available. The waitress was kind, and quick. Even checking the back fridges for any extras. I ended up getting a whole tollhouse pie. It's delicious. It does have pecans in it- different from other cookie like pies. Whole pies are $35, but you can return the pie pan for a small refund. Their pies never disappoint!”
“The nicest meal we've had in a while, and not terribly expensive for fine dining. The salmon with potato leek veloute was the nicest piece of Salmon I've ever had. The rest of the meal was also delicious.”
“Must try !! Good food and fabulous service! We had the cheeseburgers with fries special sauce wow !? I say this food truck has found a great place to park !! Thank ”
“My wife and I came here both days on a recent weekend getaway for breakfast and both days it was wonderful. Personally. The service was prompt and very friendly. We will definitely come here for breakfast on our next visit.”
“We arrived at the cafe shortly after 11am (lunch menu) and were able to sit immediately. Tables were being wiped down very promptly, and we were greeted cheerfully. Our order was also served in a timely manner. Both of our sandwiches tasted delicious! Both of our coffees (one hot, the other cold) tasted delicious as well! We greatly enjoyed looking around at the eclectic decorations during our meal. The bathroom was clean. A perfect first-time experience!”
“All was great but the seats were uncomfortable-- metal chairs with side bars which can be uncomfortable for endowed tushes. The bench like seats have no cushioning. Those are your choices! Nice sound view and view of the lighted whale skeleton!”
“My aunt LOVES this place! It's a fun little joint that's popular with a more mature crowd, to the point where the bartender chuckled when she carded me and admitted they didn't get a lot of patrons under 40. Dog-friendly and a place you can bring your card and board games, with lots of neat beers and ciders on tap and in cans/bottles.They also have a lot of non-alcoholic beverages! I'm not so into non-alcoholic beer, but I tried the hop water (a sparkling, hop-infused water) and it was exactly how the bartender described it: refreshing! If you don't drink or are the designated driver for the night and want something light and beery, give it a try.Our bartender was great and well-informed, and they'll give you a sip of their beers and ciders on tap to help decide what to get, with a variety of sizes. There's also outdoor seating, couches, bar seating and high tables, and a clean restroom with weekly-refreshed comics. Very laid back! We didn't try any of the snacks, but apparently you can even bring in your own food!”
“Short Version:————————If you appreciate a heart & TRULY home cooked meal for breakfast/lunch, served with the best smile in town, then you should go to this excellent cafe.————————Long Version, Context:————————My partner and I had just finished driving/camping all along the Washington coast and parts of the interior. We planned Port Townsend as our last stop —On Valentine’s Day. (Side note Port Townsend is the best for a quiet Valentine’s Day) After looking around town and searching google maps we found this place after passing on some much busier ones. I myself was excited because I love wooden boats and the shipyard is nearby… Out front the door.———Our Meal & Experience:———Outside we found parking amongst the shipwrights and other trades working in the yard & docks, no issues there. From the outside looking in we saw a small cafe with totally fogged up windows on our rainy day. A poet would have had fun.Upon entering we saw that the windows were fogged up as a result of the fresh (& fragrant) muffins which are apparently her speciality. Within seconds coffee was offered, and gladly received. An instant wave of “at homeness” was felt by both myself and my partner. The owners smile and kindness permeating easily into us.Quickly thereafter we looked at the menu on the chalkboard (half dozen items or so) and made our selection of bacon scramble.Quickly she and her cook began making our meals. Brought to our table with the bacon scrambled eggs accompanied by an enormous fresh blueberry muffin. The latter cut in half despite only just coming out of the oven, filled with delicious butter for further enjoyment.—I cannot stress enough how the taste, warmth, and contents of the meal felt home cooked in the best imaginable way. Instantly we felt as though we were at home and made the meal ourselves with all our favorite ingredients. Fantastic.———Experience Outside of Meal:———The room is filled with home style seating, baking materials, and much boat/sea paraphernalia. Clearly a local haunt.Kids will no doubt be more than welcome, with high chairs leaned up against the walls. We saw a family come in with many kids, quickly greeted with warm familiarity by the owner. Many shipwrights and other workers briefly entered to get some of her muffins, which are apparently a local legend.———I only have two regrets:- Not remembering her name- Not taking a pictureRegarding the latter, my partner and I are avid film photographers and realized we would have loved to take their portrait. But it didn’t feel right to interrupt the experience we were both lost in the enjoyment of.—Go HereVegetarian options: Several tasty looking vegetarian options, especially the muffins.Dietary restrictions: No doubt they can accommodate.NOTE:Since this is a home style kitchen it may not be a good idea to come here if you have an extreme allergy with high sensitivity.Parking: Lots of parking next to the dockKid-friendliness: Kids are very welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair accessible”
“So more like four and a half. When I first came to this place maybe ten years ago was incredible still great but maybe a tad less salt. The stuffed mushrooms so goooooooood the pesto clams great specials not so special but the pasta and paella fantastic just salty but not too much to ruin flavor. Get reservations you need them and I will be back. Everytime I come this is a must go to place”
“Looking forward to “Jill and Kevin Band” performing on September 8, 2023!!!!We love “ Discovery Bay Brewing Company” in Port Townsend!!!! From Janet of Public Interest Issues Show!!!!!”
“This place is a true GEM! From the warm & welcoming atmosphere, extensive menu with meat & vegan specialities, and friendly quick service…I will 100% be coming back soon! Started by a chef that worked across the country and traveled the world, you can truly see the care put into each dish. We tried the smoked salmon linguine, salmon chowder (amazing!! And award winning), and a flatbread sandwich - everything was absolutely perfect. A casual yet refined dining experience so feel free to come as you are. I hope to see this establishment succeed far into the future!Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, tables to accommodate, bathroom with railings”
“Very very good! All around. So happy to have another (one of the few) high quality food service's that give you what you pay for and more!! A staple in PT it is now.”
“Kendra is an absolute doll! We just started ordering Two Crows cookies for our cafe in Carrboro, NC and we haven't tasted a cookie we didn't like. Our customers rave about them and love that they are Vegan and Gluten Free and the one's we have do not contain soy, which is a plus for some! These cookies are a new grab and go staple at our cafe! Thanks so much for doing what you do!”
“These folks roast their own coffee and brew up a great cup. You can also buy beans here. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and a rustic atmosphere. The employees are friendly, just don't expect to get your drink quickly. The choreography of ordering, making, and serving is not an energetic two-step, it is more of a slow waltz.”
“What a neat place right on the water! You can sit on the beach, outside on the porch, or inside by windows that overlook the water. They have a bunch of choices of coffee and loose leaf teas, as well as, quiches and baked goods! Simply amazing!”
“Such a great spot! The folks are so friendly and welcoming. Not your stuffy wine spot. Super approachable, very chill, so so kind! All the events in the evening are always on point. Come for the wine, stay for the music.”
“Food was amazing. We tried all the meats. All were delicious but our favorite was the ribs, brisket and sausage. If you like beans order a side of ranch beans with the sausage with garnish and corn bread. The sausage has a kick. Keep doing what you guys are doing. Worth the money:)”
“Was good food not much of a wait . Server did well price was goodWheelchair accessibility: In a small strip mall there is a ramp in the walkway for wheel chair access”
“I would have gave slightly less of a review on the atmosphere because it is clearly more of a take out restaurant. But the food was great and priced well enough to make up for it.”
“A great place to have dinner that is top-notch but doesn't break the budget the atmosphere is that of a bar so it can get a little Rowdy in there with loud music and people playing pool and just enjoying themselves but the chef is amazing and the weight stuff and bartenders are super friendly great little local Watering HoleVegetarian options: No vegan/vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: A good place for teenagers but not anyone really under the age of 13 I wouldn't bring little kids here because it is a bar and the only separation between the bar and where people can sit is a metal railing and because it is a bar atmosphere they may be exposed to language or other things that are not kid appropriateParking: Depending on the day of the week parking can be a little scarceWheelchair accessibility: There isn't an automated door or anything to make it ADA however you can get a wheelchair in and out of the bar and onto a portion of the back patio.”
“It was great food good service awesome drinks strong just annoying that the six drink women obviously girls night out we so loud and obnoxious which isn't the restaurants fault but our fault for choosing a table so close to them lol will definitely go again”
“Excellent food - best salad today and bread was fabulous too. My husband loved the turkey sandwich and the many cookies and sweets are always yummy. And we took home chicken pot pies for dinner. They are amazing!!It’s the best place for lunch. And you can reserve a high tea - really a good way to celebrateI could go on but you get the idea - Tenby’s is excellent. Try it.”
“Cinnamon roll great wish it was warmer but fantastic and some kinda rolled stuffed pistachio creme filled pastry fantastic for a cup of coffee and pastry in morning being your own coffee ”
“Very pleasant experience visiting late morning and getting specialty lattes and a bagel to split. The Bob’s Bagel with salmon cream cheese, capers, and red onion was so freaking delicious! Living in Kitsap County I’m always wishing for an authentic bagel, sadly this is little far away, but this one nailed it. Good coffees too.Friendly baristas and enjoyed the mix of locals and out-of-towners enjoying their slow morning. Obviously great location right on the waterfront as well. Thanks!”
“Fantastic and highly accommodating to vegan and gluten free diets.Thought I'd add an update to the edit now that I've visited three times. It is hands down my favorite place in Port Townsend to hang out after walking around. They have got the best sweet potato fries I've ever had in my life. We always enjoy what we order there.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options & vegan options... Something that might be rare to find, but there are dishes both plant based as well as gluten free.”
“These folks are absolutely crushing it! Packed for Sunday brunch and cranking out delicious food with accuracy and speed. Everything was great, service was prompt and pleasant. We enjoyed ambling around the boatyard with our dogs while we waited for our table.”
“My wife had combo that included one of the best tamales we’ve had since living in Washington! I ordered the Molcajete Fajita that was absolutely amazing!! So worth the drive from Port Townsend!!! Our new favorite place for authentic Mexican cuisine!!!”
“Great place to stop for some cider! They have a ton of great cider options ranging from dry to sweet and plenty of flavor variations. There is live music and other events some nights, so be sure to check the schedule. (Sometimes there is a cover charge.) There is food available from Finn River itself or a couple other food vendors (ramen, pizza, oysters, etc.) Check the day to see which of those are open. Plenty of seating, some inside, some outside, plus you can walk around the fields if you want some air. There is a dog friendly section, too. Really nice setup.”
