“Roadside food truck that serves food that is 10/10! Absolutely worth the 20 minute wait. The blue cheese burger was absolutely ridiculously amazing even for $18. The bar is set higher with a higher price point and these burgers knocked it out of the park.”

“I've been here three times and had excellent food and service at each visit. The fish & chips was excellent as was salmon salad and hamburger. The apple pie was also made in house and was delicious.”

“We made 5pm reservations on a Monday night, but it turned out they weren't necessary on a rainy evening. Reservations are normally recommended, especially later in the evening, on weekends, or during the summer. The decor is unique. I had two starters for my meal: the Brussels sprouts and smoked salmon on flatbread. More salmon would have been nice, but it was all tasty. My husband had one of the specials, and he was quite happy with it. Our server did a great job. We learned that the restaurant had recently reopened under new ownership, but it appears that they're not making a lot of changes right away since everything seemed similar to our experiences there pre-pandemic.”

“I was absolutely blown away with our experience here! Being vegan and finding delicious food can be a struggle, but not here! This is the classic family Mexican food experience we have been looking for since we moved from Texas! Customer service was amazing. Everyone was so kind and knowledgable about what was vegan. We got the veggie fajitas and burrito and both were so so good! Veggies were fresh and the portion sizes were fantastic. The atmosphere was very much community and family. Music and vibes were exactly what you want with a delicious bowl of salsa. I'm so happy we stumbled across this place and can't wait to come back!”

“Burger Landing is my aging parents favorite weekly burger joint. The burgers are great. My parents have their regular order of one cheeseburger and one Hawaiian burger, but my mom loves the onion rings. I drive them there and get them two orders of rings and I’m lucky if I get any by the time we’ve home. Every burger I’ve had there has been great. The service and food are excellent. You need to recognize that it’s the local burger joint that everyone around Port Hadlock and Port Townsend goes to. I rated the atmosphere a three because it’s all take out. That being said, it rates a five for food and service. Give it a try. I take my folks once a week to get their burger fix. “I can't wait for the weather to be nicer so I can recreate this picture. Most of the ciders are pretty good and aren't sickly sweet. Finn River is a great place to bring the family too, especially in the summer. Besides the patio seating, the lawn area has chairs, tables, and even some activities. Having delicious wood fired pizza on site is such a smart move. I make sure when I come the pizza is there too.”

“Kendra is an absolute doll! We just started ordering Two Crows cookies for our cafe in Carrboro, NC and we haven't tasted a cookie we didn't like. Our customers rave about them and love that they are Vegan and Gluten Free and the one's we have do not contain soy, which is a plus for some! These cookies are a new grab and go staple at our cafe! “So more like four and a half. When I first came to this place maybe ten years ago was incredible still great but maybe a tad less salt. The stuffed mushrooms so goooooooood the pesto clams great specials not so special but the pasta and paella fantastic just salty but not too much to ruin flavor. Get reservations you need them and I will be back. Everytime I come this is a must go to place”

“Very pleasant experience visiting late morning and getting specialty lattes and a bagel to split. The Bob’s Bagel with salmon cream cheese, capers, and red onion was so freaking delicious! Living in Kitsap County I’m always wishing for an authentic bagel, sadly this is little far away, but this one nailed it. “Short Version:————————If you appreciate a heart & TRULY home cooked meal for breakfast/lunch, served with the best smile in town, then you should go to this excellent cafe.————————Long Version, Context:————————My partner and I had just finished driving/camping all along the Washington coast and parts of the interior. We planned Port Townsend as our last stop —On Valentine’s Day. (Side note Port Townsend is the best for a quiet Valentine’s Day) After looking around town and searching google maps we found this place after passing on some much busier ones. I myself was excited because I love wooden boats and the shipyard is nearby… Out front the door.———Our Meal & Experience:———Outside we found parking amongst the shipwrights and other trades working in the yard & docks, no issues there.From the outside looking in we saw a small cafe with totally fogged up windows on our rainy day. A poet would have had fun.Upon entering we saw that the windows were fogged up as a result of the fresh (& fragrant) muffins which are apparently her speciality. Within seconds coffee was offered, and gladly received. An instant wave of “at homeness” was felt by both myself and my partner. The owners smile and kindness permeating easily into us.Quickly thereafter we looked at the menu on the chalkboard (half dozen items or so) and made our selection of bacon scramble.Quickly she and her cook began making our meals. Brought to our table with the bacon scrambled eggs accompanied by an enormous fresh blueberry muffin. The latter cut in half despite only just coming out of the oven, filled with delicious butter for further enjoyment.—I cannot stress enough how the taste, warmth, and contents of the meal felt home cooked in the best imaginable way. Instantly we felt as though we were at home and made the meal ourselves with all our favorite ingredients. Fantastic.———Experience Outside of Meal:———The room is filled with home style seating, baking materials, and much boat/sea paraphernalia. Clearly a local haunt.Kids will no doubt be more than welcome, with high chairs leaned up against the walls.We saw a family come in with many kids, quickly greeted with warm familiarity by the owner.Many shipwrights and other workers briefly entered to get some of her muffins, which are apparently a local legend.———I only have two regrets:- Not remembering her name- Not taking a pictureRegarding the latter, my partner and I are avid film photographers and realized we would have loved to take their portrait. “All was great but the seats were uncomfortable-- metal chairs with side bars which can be uncomfortable for endowed tushes. The bench like seats have no cushioning. Those are your choices! Nice sound view and view of the lighted whale skeleton!”

“Maybe you’ve had a mushroom croissant… but unless it came warmed on a plate from Bishop Block Bottle Shop ? you’ve not had the best.In the winter, I sip delicious hot chocolate by their fireplace. In spring and summer you can sip something from their wide array of wines and ciders, whilst sitting outside in the sweet smelling and beautiful garden out back.Inside seating is cozy with lots of natural lighting and on any given night you can chill and listen to live music.The staff are laid back and excellent in service and care.”
