Most other places use the garlic from a jar, but A and H used fresh garlic, and lots of it. Everything on the menu looks great, and the prices are very reasonable, we will definitely be back to try more!”

“The cafe serves good sandwiches and other breakfast and lunch dishes, but I have to say that the muffins here are the best I have ever eaten. Berry, mixed berry, sometimes peach is available. Get there early if you want one while they are still hot, or even still there at all. Try one, thank me later!”

The food assortment was different and what we tried was very good. We will be back to try other stuff on the menu. Park wherever you find a spot though. “Be forewarned: if you order iced coffee, they’ll put it in a hot coffee cup. When you walk around town condensation will form on the cup and it will begin to disintegrate. If you bring the situation to their attention they’ll just tell you to drink faster. Other than that, it was an excellent place; fast service; great location.”

“Every time I'm visiting a proper coastal town, solid seafood is on my agenda. That's what I came to Silverwater for. But I was blown away! My meal was plated with intention and cooked wonderfully. (Now that I've tasted fondant potatoes, I don't think I'll ever go back!) It was so delightful I turned my phone upside down and intentionally slowed my eating just to enjoy it. Rarely can I turn off my mind and just be in the moment, so this was a true gift. Paired with happenstance live music and attentive and warm staff, it was a genuine culinary experience I won't soon forget.

A shout-out to Barry, my waiter. His service was excellent to me, but what made him stand out was how he commended his kitchen colleagues for their skills, and how he treated another guest, a child. He crouched to her level for their conversation, rather than speak over her. It was an intentional and dignified choice, and it was reassuring that he was genuinely good at what he does and it wasn't for show.

“Love this place. I like getting a cider and sitting in the sun. Dog friendly and you can bring your own food. Always 2 choices od micro local ciders on tap and many beers to choose from plus many choices in cans besides the tap choices. My go to on sunny days. Great place to relax even if your alone. Nice vibe anytime and occasionally during the summer they have music. A locals hang out but welcomes all.”
