“Wonderful meal, excellent risotto, so creamy and delicious. Five of us are here for a bike weekender. We have our share of excellent restaurants in Portland, and this meal in Port Townsend was a standout!”

Visiting Marina Cafe is always the highlight of our boat haul outs at Boat Haven over the last 10-years. The berry muffins are unbeatable for breakfast followed by a balanced lunch of stromboli, mixed green salad, chips and a cookie... perfect to carry us through the work day in the yard. Jen keeps her prices affordable for us blue collar folks and always with a smile. The newly added evening pop-up tapas events are a huge hit and where the chefs' get inspired, offering a rotating menu of small, delicious plates in a high-spirited, community atmosphere. We are so lucky to have this small business smack dab in the middle of the boat yard and the Port of Port Townsend. Go there!”

“We recently started exploring the Olympic Peninsula and Port Townsend is one of our favorite stops. I'm so glad we made Tommyknocker's one of our first dining experiences. Friendly staff, perfect pasty, superb salmon chowder, and a cool comfy atmosphere. You gotta try it.”

“Love this place. I like getting a cider and sitting in the sun. Dog friendly and you can bring your own food. Always 2 choices od micro local ciders on tap and many beers to choose from plus many choices in cans besides the tap choices. My go to on sunny days. Great place to relax even if your alone. Nice vibe anytime and occasionally during the summer they have music. A locals hang out but welcomes all.”

“Be forewarned: if you order iced coffee, they’ll put it in a hot coffee cup. When you walk around town condensation will form on the cup and it will begin to disintegrate. If you bring the situation to their attention they’ll just tell you to drink faster. Other than that, it was an excellent place; fast service; great location.”

“Our son recently got married in lovely Pt. Townsend. We needed to host 30 people for the groom's dinner. There are not many places in town that can accommodate that large of a crowd. However Jason was willing to offer our group his entire front room for this event. Being from out of town everything was arranged through one phone call and text messages. Jason recommended a family style dinner with three entrees, 4 appetizers and two additional sides. The food was amazing, the service was delightful, everyone was comfortable and well fed. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for the wonderful experience it gave us and fond memories for the newlyweds. This was quite a place for a destination wedding and our flawless experience with Jason made it even better. My only wish is he owned another one in Minneapolis, then maybe he'd be a Vikings fan!”

“Husband and I are visiting port Townsend and found Fiesta for lunch. The biggest most delicious burritos I've seen! I got the daily special, Birria, (AMAZING) and he got chicken fajita. 10/10. Only problem is they are so big we couldn't finish. Great spot!”

“Banana Leaf is a favorite of ours for Asian food in PT, and it never disappoints. The dishes are delicious, and the spiciness on-target with our regular requests of 4 (pleasantly spicy) to negative 2 (not spicy at all). The servers are always friendly and helpful. Some of our favorite dishes are Golden Cashew, Rama, Massamun Curry, and Mango Ginger Duck.”

“Wow! TBH I went here because they were open early but was pleasantly surprised by their service and coffee. The barista was intelligent and intuitive (didn’t need to ask, she just put a stopper on the coffee that wasn’t mine) and could clearly see I was in need of caffeine and didn’t mess around. They have peanut butter syrup (one of my faves) and white coffee. Great start to my day!”

“Dinner on a Sunday in mid-May. Waterside/patio table was available. We didn't realize that they had just relocated/reopened a week prior. Well done team! The building is super cool. Tortillas, AMAZING. We made it there just in time for one happy hour order... fish taco and a margarita, yes please. Ended up ordering more off the regular menu and enjoyed every bite.”

“We stayed at the Marina RV Park for the weekend and decided to walk on over the night we got in. We had the BEST food and service, we loved it so much that we came back with some friends the next day for lunch. This place has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants, we will be back anytime we’re in Port Townsend. We were talking about that Prime Rib & Cheddar for the rest of the day and into the morning 😆🤤”

“I stayed at the castle one night for a work trip. It has its charms, and its draw-backs. The hotel halls were a little slim, the steps a bit steep, and the bathrooms (king rooms only) were tiny. The first floor had a damp, musty smell that was off-putting; it made me grateful to be second floor. The minifridge in my room was particularly noisy, so those who don't like white noise might struggle. Finally, there doesn't appear to be AC in the rooms (but windows open and there is a small fan) - use caution if you're staying in summer.

Overall, due to the age of the hotel, it isn't a very accessible option. All that said, check-in was easy, staff were pleasant, my room was clean, and I didn't hear a lot of noise at night. If you need a simple (yet haunted?) place to sleep for a night while in town, and a bit of extra mobility and flexibility doesn't bother you, Manresa will meet your needs.”
