POULSBO (New Day Fisheries) pickled herring, may just be the worlds finest. Weve tried them all, and Poulsbo is the best. Hard to describe its complex flavor, it has a great finish, and we consider it a top-tier food. Absolutely delicious..
I recommend New Day Fisheries because it is owned by Scott Kimmel- a longtime veteran of the seafood industry and all-around great guy. His pickled herring has no equal in the industry.
