“Recently, Sunshine Drip accommodated a larger order for our group. Service was outstanding and flexible to our needs! Pasties delicious! Scones were moist, not hard and dry and just crumbled in your mouth!!! As one friend said, "Oooom hoom! Om nom, nom nom!!", and gave a thumbs up trying to avoid crumbs falling out of his mouth. :-)”

“This place is top notch! We stopped here after riding bikes out by Oak Harbor. All the staff were very kind, atmosphere was great and the views of the water are nice too! We ate in the roost which is the 21+ section upstairs. Both cocktails we had were tasty. The food was phenomenal, best food I’ve had on the island so far. We had the smoked beet salad, the pork belly bites, the pork and beef bolognese with red wine bucatini and a tomato pie. Every single item was delicious and cooked perfectly. If you haven’t tried this place before, do so! 10/10 Outdoor seating, seating for those with pups, deck seating, indoor all ages seating and 21+ area with absolutely baller food.”

“Really good pizza. As in, surprisingly good pizza. Clearly freshly made dough, newly made tomato sauce (not canned!), and fresh vegetables! We were pleasantly surprised! It’s rare these days to get a pizza of that quality. We ate more than we intended and got another to go. All we wanted to know when we left was: could you please open one on the south end of the Island?!”

“Decided to try one of their cinnamon rolls and a sticky bun plus grabbed a couple of frappes. The cinnamon roll was HUGE and delicious; the sticky bun was okay and the frappes were delicious too. Anxious to try one of their paninia and sandwiches. I'm going back - today, as a matter of fact!!”

“I go to Port Angeles typically once a month. The last year, I have been making this trip on Tuesdays. I arrive at the ferry early and take a walk. That’s when I think, it would nice to have a coffee. Oh ya, Callens is right across the street. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays and don’t open till 9am the other days. I only bring this up because virtually every time, I see people walking up to find the only business capable of serving coffee at the ferry terminal closed. Obviously, I have no idea how much staffing they have and certainly they need a day off. I am only pointing out they have a captive audience here looking for coffee and possibly something to eat while they wait for the ferry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts as I would like to support this local business.”

“This experience was hard to understand for someone who's never been to a community place like this. It's located directly in the boat harbor so a lot of workers are coming and going through out. It's rough and tumble in all the right ways. People kind of just flow in and know how it all works. The best omelet I've had in a long time with sausage and green chilly. The muffins where filled with as many berries as possible. By the end I felt apart of the whole experience. If I lived in this town it would be a weekly stop for me. Love the culture and the food is a wonderful bonus. Stop in and see what I'm talking about.”

“They need to put signs out that say “please limit your time at tables to 40min.

“We finally had a chance to give Jumbo Burrito a try! Our little family walked in 10 minutes prior to closing and these guys were SO accommodating and so friendly. Everyone in there was positive and just had a great attitude. Super clean restaurant as well, and the food is fantastic especially for the price. Tons of quality meat & sides. The veggies are fresh and just taste amazing. Thank you guys so much for accommodating us last minute and getting us a hot meal after a long day. Much appreciated!! The jumbo portion lives up the hype!”

“Always good food with a diverse meal. The stafe is hospitable and inviting. They go the extra mile. We make reservations. We prefer the lounge area up stairs on date night... quietier to have an intimate dinner without hearing other tables conversation.

“Be forewarned: if you order iced coffee, they’ll put it in a hot coffee cup. When you walk around town condensation will form on the cup and it will begin to disintegrate. If you bring the situation to their attention they’ll just tell you to drink faster. Other than that, it was an excellent place; fast service; great location.”

“One of the two bars I tend to actually go to in Port Townsend, Pourhouse is nicely atmospheric with a large outdoor seating area featuring a covered patio, tables with umbrellas, tables without umbrellas and a ping-pong table. It's right on the beach, which provides a pleasant, if sometimes slightly chill breeze. There is some indoor seating, but significantly less than outdoors, so i generally expect to be outside. The selection on tap is decent, primarily focused on various beers, but they always keep both a sweet and a dry cider available as well, one of which is typically my choice for the evening. Prices are on the lower side of standard for the area, so not cheap, but also not $15+ per drink like you can find at some of the town's coctail bars. It's a great place to spend an evening with friends, particularly in summer and early fall.”
