A friendly, family owned cafe with great food - authentic Mexican and American comfort food. From a Chimmichanga to a bowl of clam chowder with a full service bar. Reasonable prices, fast service. Always treated like a member of the family. Had a breakfast get-together there for 25 after our Dad's memorial. It is our go-to date place, and we stop in frequently.
The food here was good, but not great. This was standard American style Mexican food. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing was fantastic either.Honestly, I do not know that this place has a reasonable value proposition. It was around €20 per plate. They seem like nice people, but please focus on adding that extra "oomph" or flavor to dishes. I am sure there are sauces or just something that would make the dishes here irresistible (or at least something I would return for).
