“We always order tons of their toro nigiri, it’s super fresh and delicious. We first had toro in Japan and we were so amazed at the fatty fish, when we came back home to Stanwood we thought we would never get to eat toro as good as Japan but we tried Shima’s. The toro that Dan served us was 100% was better than sushi places in San Francisco, Seattle, and specifically Japan. The service was so amazing, and the staff was very friendly. We will be sure to bring all of our family and friends here to support a local family business!”

“Jimmy's has been a mainstay in the Camano Island for years. They make amazing pizza, their crust is perfect. The side salad is always fresh and taste great. My wife loves the shrimp salad. I am so spoiled with the pizza that I will pretty much only eat Jimmy's. One other thing is there take out is great too.”

“Love this place, from their amazing food to their incredible staff, I always feel like part of the family. I have so many recommendations here are a few of my personal favorites!!! First Sinan makes the best fresh cucumber and watermelon margaritas I’ve ever had, Los Gobernador is one of my favorite dishes, they currently have specials running I’ve tried the Birria beef tacos and Poblano cream chicken. I recommend this restaurant if you would like to taste real authentic Mexican cuisine in a friendly environment!!!”

“I usually love coming in to jasmin but today was a game changer for my family. We went in for our daughters birthday (she loves the food). The food was so great but our server was awful. ( Kayleigh) my daughter asked politely for her birthday ice cream twice and she ignored her. Then she ignored us about 4 times when we waved her down for drink refills. My daughter left in tears after our visit today. we payed our bill and left very unsatisfied in customer service.”

“A cute little food spot. Small place with a mighty taste. We both got the 89er (I think that's what it was called), it was the best breakfast sandwich we've had across 8 states of traveling. They had the cutest shirts and sweatshirts as well. Had to snag one of those and it was worth every penny. Soft and comfy. This is definitely a must eat in Stanwood”

“The lady made me a mix drink with Red Bull and I'm thinking it's Dragon Passion with whip cream. It's so so good. I'm going to have to visit again. Its sweet but the whip cream leveled it out the sweetness. It's a must go joint. It's right off the freeway and by Shell gas station.”

“Our favorite place in the area! My family enjoys the Paninis, the coffee, chai, breakfast sandwiches, ice cream and the doughnuts. The tornado mix ins are delicious and are better than Dairy Queen in our opinion - they actually mix the candy in all the way and they don’t skimp you and the ice cream it’s self is just so good. Every single person we have encountered there has been very nice and helpful. I don’t think prices are bad when you consider the quality of what you get and the excellent customer service. They also just started offering kids meals, we look forward to trying those out next time!”

“The chicken teriyaki was delicious! The chicken was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and they gave a really generous portion. It normally comes with rice and salad, but I was able to substitute the salad for extra rice, which I really appreciated. Everything tasted fresh and the teriyaki sauce was so good! I received the food within 10 minutes. I had take out but the inside was lovely and had plenty seating!”

“Stanwood Thai was a bit of a mixed experience for me.

FOOD: The food itself was very good and surprisingly affordably priced. This was definitely the strongest part of my experience, and I would absolutely come back for the food.

SERVICE: My server was friendly and, importantly, very communicative about my allergies. I appreciated that she took my allergies seriously and made sure we were on the same page about what I could safely order.

There was one distracting moment during the meal, though. The server was having a very loud phone conversation in the dining room, repeatedly yelling “take it back” into the phone. I obviously have no idea what the situation was, but it was loud enough that it became part of the dining experience and made the otherwise quiet meal feel intrusive.

ATMOSPHERE: The dining room is very basic and the restaurant is clearly showing its age. I don't necessarily expect a Thai restaurant in Stanwood to be luxurious, but the space could use some attention.

There was also a television playing what appeared to be an AI-generated outdoor patio scene. I actually think this was a missed opportunity. It would have been much more interesting and authentic to show a compilation of beautiful scenery, temples, markets, beaches and other places throughout Thailand. That would have added character to the dining room and given customers a little glimpse of the country whose food culture they are enjoying.

SEATING: I sat in a booth and found the table to be extremely low relative to the seat. I am 6', so I am certainly taller than average, but the proportions were uncomfortable even for me. The seating could be worth reconsidering.

Overall, I would come back because the food was genuinely good, the prices were reasonable with the portion sizes, and my server handled my allergies very well. The restaurant itself could benefit from some updating and a little more attention to the atmosphere and seating.”

“this is the only place in town open after about 7pm and that alone gets 5/5 stars. (the staff here are awesome, i've been a regular since the place opened - you can legitimately ask or communicate for literally anything and any dietary accommodation. awesome folks.)”

“We enjoyed our breakfast as the food was fresh and cooked perfectly. We ordered the #3 breakfast which includes 2 huge pancakes which were delicious. There was so much food we had to take some home. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was well maintained and it has the 1950's vibe.”

“This is the sister shop to our Everett Home Restaurant. We have been going to the one in Everett forever now.
This establishment is right in a good spot for business. Lots of parking space. The signage is great. The food is amazing. We had our usual meals. 3 soft ground beef tacos, 4 hard shell ground beef tacos, chicken torta and tator tots.
I am so thankful we seen this place. And came and ate what we knew was delicious.”
