We always order tons of their toro nigiri, it’s super fresh and delicious. We first had toro in Japan and we were so amazed at the fatty fish, when we came back home to Stanwood we thought we would never get to eat toro as good as Japan but we tried Shima’s. The toro that Dan served us was 100% was better than sushi places in San Francisco, Seattle, and specifically Japan. The service was so amazing, and the staff was very friendly. The Volcano Roll and the Lion King Roll were fresh and flavorful. The staff was kind, and the vibe was relaxed. The food is always top quality, and the owners are there every single day, making incredibly delicious kitchen food and sushi. They make everything by hand.
