“The chicken teriyaki was delicious! The chicken was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and they gave a really generous portion. It normally comes with rice and salad, but I was able to substitute the salad for extra rice, which I really appreciated. Everything tasted fresh and the teriyaki sauce was so good! I received the food within 10 minutes. I had take out but the inside was lovely and had plenty seating!“

“We always order tons of their toro nigiri, it’s super fresh and delicious. We first had toro in Japan and we were so amazed at the fatty fish, when we came back home to Stanwood we thought we would never get to eat toro as good as Japan but we tried Shima’s. The toro that Dan served us was 100% was better than sushi places in San Francisco, Seattle, and specifically Japan. The service was so amazing, and the staff was very friendly. We will be sure to bring all of our family and friends here to support a local family business!“
