Good burger! Staff were nice.
Very comfortable with the service. Friendly and helpful. Burger was delicious. Finally a burger with bread and butter chips. Not a fan of dill pickles so thank you Cable Canteen.They just got a soft serve machine so next time I will get a cone. And there will be a next time.!
The fish wich at Cable House Canteen is the real deal. Perfectly crispy fish, fresh bun, great sauce — everything in balance. One of the best fish sandwiches around.

Based on the reviews, Cable House Canteen is a great little spot near the beach at Fort Worden. The food is excellent, with one of the best burgers in Port Townsend and the fish wich being the real deal. The fish and chips are very good with lightly breaded and perfectly cooked fish fillets, and the burgers are juicy and full of flavor. The fries are awesome, very hot and crispy. The service is awesome with a smile, and the staff greets with an eager-to-please authentic attitude. The restaurant features a cozy eating bar inside made of a big slab of wood decorated with sketches of ships, as well as a little patio and outdoor seating. They also offer kayak rentals. Many beach and tourist necessities are available inside, including greeting cards, a pale and shovel, cold non-alcoholic drinks, and a freezer filled with a variety of ice cream. It is a very affordable price and a 5+ experience.
