Stopped in to check out the historical fort, stumbled upon the Cable House Canteen, they make absolutely delicious Burgers 🍔🤤 here. In addition to camping necessities, Beach toys, knickknacks, good selection of candy including s'mores supplies and of course firewood and ice Both the ladies on staff were very friendly and helpful I just actually stopped in to see how much the kayaks rented for for future adventures. I was not planning to eat here but...
Decent burger for the price. Only issue was the young lady telling me I couldn't have bacon on my burger because they were too busy. I offered to wait extra time. But I guess that wasn't going to get it done.
Very comfortable with the service. Friendly and helpful. Burger was delicious. Finally a burger with bread and butter chips. Not a fan of dill pickles so thank you Cable Canteen.They just got a soft serve machine so next time I will get a cone. And there will be a next time.!
