“I discovered why so few pictures of the food online - because it comes super fast and you want to eat it right away. There are half portions, which are helpful (to save some appetite for pie). Prices good. Pie good. Cute decor. Worth the trip out from downtown PT.“
“So more like four and a half. When I first came to this place maybe ten years ago was incredible still great but maybe a tad less salt. The stuffed mushrooms so goooooooood the pesto clams great specials not so special but the pasta and paella fantastic just salty but not too much to ruin flavor. Get reservations you need them and I will be back. Everytime I come this is a must go to place“
“Found this place on accident and let me tell you, best accident ever.1. Super cute2. Great deals3. Tammy was fantastic. Easy to talk to, gave recommendations of a place to see, and helped point me to some stuff that would help my momThe only thing I don't like is that it's 2 hours from where I live. If I come that way again I know where I'm going“
“Short Version:————————If you appreciate a heart & TRULY home cooked meal for breakfast/lunch, served with the best smile in town, then you should go to this excellent cafe.————————Long Version, Context:————————My partner and I had just finished driving/camping all along the Washington coast and parts of the interior. We planned Port Townsend as our last stop —On Valentine’s Day. (Side note Port Townsend is the best for a quiet Valentine’s Day) After looking around town and searching google maps we found this place after passing on some much busier ones. I myself was excited because I love wooden boats and the shipyard is nearby… Out front the door.———Our Meal & Experience:———Outside we found parking amongst the shipwrights and other trades working in the yard & docks, no issues there. From the outside looking in we saw a small cafe with totally fogged up windows on our rainy day. A poet would have had fun.Upon entering we saw that the windows were fogged up as a result of the fresh (& fragrant) muffins which are apparently her speciality. Within seconds coffee was offered, and gladly received. An instant wave of “at homeness” was felt by both myself and my partner. The owners smile and kindness permeating easily into us.Quickly thereafter we looked at the menu on the chalkboard (half dozen items or so) and made our selection of bacon scramble.Quickly she and her cook began making our meals. Brought to our table with the bacon scrambled eggs accompanied by an enormous fresh blueberry muffin. The latter cut in half despite only just coming out of the oven, filled with delicious butter for further enjoyment.—I cannot stress enough how the taste, warmth, and contents of the meal felt home cooked in the best imaginable way. Instantly we felt as though we were at home and made the meal ourselves with all our favorite ingredients. Fantastic.———Experience Outside of Meal:———The room is filled with home style seating, baking materials, and much boat/sea paraphernalia. Clearly a local haunt.Kids will no doubt be more than welcome, with high chairs leaned up against the walls. We saw a family come in with many kids, quickly greeted with warm familiarity by the owner. Many shipwrights and other workers briefly entered to get some of her muffins, which are apparently a local legend.———I only have two regrets:- Not remembering her name- Not taking a pictureRegarding the latter, my partner and I are avid film photographers and realized we would have loved to take their portrait. But it didn’t feel right to interrupt the experience we were both lost in the enjoyment of.—Go HereVegetarian options: Several tasty looking vegetarian options, especially the muffins.Dietary restrictions: No doubt they can accommodate.NOTE:Since this is a home style kitchen it may not be a good idea to come here if you have an extreme allergy with high sensitivity.Parking: Lots of parking next to the dockKid-friendliness: Kids are very welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair accessible“
“What a hidden gem! I had the Owl Sprit burger. Delish! No side dish with it so ordered the sweet potato fries. I was shocked at the sweet potatoes fries. I was expecting a giant plate of lazy soggy deep fried standard plate. I was shocked that these sweet potatoes were giant cut, were covered in spices and cooked to perfection. Soft inside, crispy and flavorful on outside. The side dip was spicy and flavorful and absolutely mouth watering. The price point may be high however, many of these dishes are made with local grown and raised foods. Worth it! Splurge and go sit down on their tiny quaint patio. The restaurant is on a side street so it's not noisy.“
“the fish and chips were filling, great portions for the price. however, they are cash only which is a bit unfortunate as the food is not cheap. not a ton of room to dine-in, but it was cozy in the way only a food stall can be with "communal" tables (aka ask nicely if you can sit next to someone)“
“2024: Not what it was. Still pretty good, but not the OMG it used to be.5yrs ago: Well, we've been two days in a row and possibly returning tomorrow - that's how yummy it is. Really good food, top notch service. Try the cinnamon raisin french toast, or from what we can tell, anything else is good too.“
“I love coming in to Reveille, that have really tasty food and good coffee. If you ever find yourself at Fort Worden and in need of a pick-me-up. They are a great spot!Vegetarian options: They always have at least one good veggie options on top of the pastries for lunch And all of thier breakfast options include a choice of meatless suasage/pattie.Today I chose the PNW Bombay sandwich (pictured). grilled veggies with a curry spread. Very tasty!Parking: Dedicated free parking lot in front of building.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, to the whole building.“
“We love this coffee shop! This gal knows no stranger! She is very nice, cordial, and she treats you like she's known you forever!! Her treats and desserts that she sells are huge, and they taste great!! We go there every time we are in Port Townsend!!“
“Dined for breakfast here the morning after our overnighter in Port Townsend. Super delicious biscuit gravy and breakfast sandwich. Service is fast & friendly as well. Blueberry Tart was a tad sweet but that can be resolved by asking for the sauce on the side rather than on the pastry.“
