Literally just a mostly-empty cup with a shot of espresso in it), and we've been unable to contact them about it, as they don't answer the phone and their voicemail is full. We'll still buy from them, but this isn't a great look.“

“This coffee shop is really nice to spend time in. The music and the atmosphere is really cozy, and reminds me of a more traditional style cafe.

There are a lot of different syrups on tap so you can get lots of different flavors, but the base coffee (in my case, espresso) is hearty and present, without crossing into the overwhelming bitter flavors.“

“I love this place. The atmosphere is wonderful with it's adorable tea pots and cups scattered about, little flower vases with fresh flowers, cute sugar bowls and creamers. The music has a lovely French vibe. The pastry case is beautiful and full. The exposed brick wall gives a fabulous earthy feel to an otherwise polished look.
The service is outstanding- I have been here multiple times and each time the servers are happy, competent, and helpful. They make you feel happy you are here and like they are just as happy to be here. An environment with happy servers makes a place feel so much more welcoming.
My one issue, that I would humbly request the owners consider changing, is the seating. They have about 7 tables. 3 are regular sit down tables with chairs. The other 4 are tall tables with tall chairs. I abhor tall tables and chairs, to the point that I normally will not go back to a place if there is even a chance I may have to sit at a tall table. I constantly have to adjust myself to stay in the chair, feel like I am going to fall getting in and out. They are also difficult for older people and people with disabilities. I do frequently have someone with me who has a physical disability and this can mean that sometimes we really can't go to places with tall tables and chairs because they literally can't safely sit in them. For this place, I have made an exception when I am by myself and have even sat at the dreaded tall tables because I love the atmosphere so much. But it does affect how often I can visit and how long I can stay, so I am hoping the owners chose to replace those tall tables with standard ones at some point in the future.“

I had it served with mixed vegetables that were perfectly wok'd, still crunchy, not soggy, and with great flavor. Food is cooked to order, fresh, and very flavorful. “I was actually at the Briar Grill, not the Cafe. The Grill is a good place if you get your food made to order. I love their soups, chicken curry, gyros, and burgers. I would stay away from their premade burgers and corn dogs, unless you like eating at gas stations. But I've done it. It is what it is. Their fries could also use some work. Not sure why they don't just make them fresh like they do at Dick's. Cheaper and way tastier, and their student cooks need to learn that skill (I am a former fry cook). That said, if you are a student at EdCC, or just happen to be loitering on campus and too lazy to make your own lunch, the Briar Grill is the (only) place to get a good hot lunch! �“

It’s very inexpensive and the girls I see in the mornings (only time I go ) are so kind, & one time one of the girls recognized my car in a 5 car wait and made my drink for me so when I got the window she already had it. I was running late to work so that made my week. She did it 100% unprompted. Love this shop, I’ll be sad once I move since it will be too far to come to.“

“SO CUTE!! If you love tea and cosey vibes, this is the place to visit. The themed rooms are SUPER amazing. I went with a small group and it was $35/person and we left FULL. You get a whole teapot of tea to yourself, you get to choose which tea you want (you can smell all of them; there are so many amazing options, something for everyone!), you get a scone with a topping of your choice (also amazing options), tea sandwiches, biscuits, and sorbet! It was incredible, and I believe it's all because of the owners. They were both super kind and unexpectedly let us stay later than our scheduled time due to having quite a late start (like, almost an hour late). They were very compassionate and NEVER rushed us. Very hospitable and the place was very clean. I will definitely be planning a trip back!“
