“Great little cafe with excellent espresso. I came late at about 10:30am and the food was gone so I can't speak to that. I love working here with a coffee. They have free Wi-Fi and a private back room for studying or working. They always have beautiful art from local artist on the walls for decoration and to purchase. It's like a rotating gallery and makes a great atmosphere.“

“They have a really large indoor area for sitting to work. A covered patio and another seating area out front. Need a drive thru - yup, they've got that too. Dog friendly patios. Lots of street parking available. On the 347 bus line. Like other small local coffee stops I've been to in Shoreline, the staff is super nice, good coffee, and neighborhood focused. <3 I always start with a cappuccino somewhere new. For me - their's have a nice balance of foam, cream, and espresso. (I'm not going to mention large chain organizations who call it a cappuccino and it's really a "not-latte".) Good selection of snacky thingies too. Definitely worth a pop-in.“

Very happy how the staff sets boundaries for the cats and that they also have an area they can go to if they want alone time (the cats not the staff lol)The kitties are very well behaved and adorable, there’s lots of toys to play with and plenty of comfy places for them to be just piles of sleep.I was worried it would be weird with other people in the room but it was totally fine both times and everyone was really respectful. The second time I came was for a Taylor Swift listening party and it was awesome. I definitely recommend coming here for the cats and coming back because of the staff and vibes.“

The person on register was very helpful and ultimately recommended the veggie toast, which was absolutely delicious.Whoever came up with that toast clearly takes pride in what they do and knows how to bring together flavors for maximum effect. It had an ideal balance of creaminess from the cashew butter, tanginess and earthiness from the fermented carrots and marinated beets, and freshness from the herbs and greens on top.“

“As a European, I was pleasantly surprised by the service! This is the first time in the USA that I actually found a service! Very nice staff who serve very tasty food and coffee! Thank you very much, I'm impressed!Compared to other coffee shops and restaurants I've visited in the states, this is a gem in terms of service. A very pleasant waitress told us about the features of this place and their menu and helped us choose coffee, after which she reserved the table, which was very nice. If you want a break from Starbucks and other self-service coffee shops, this is the place for you!In terms of the interior, it was nice to see beyond the usual tables, places by the fireplace and a summer veranda!Very tasty coffee and croissant! And they not only handed me a cup and plate, but also brought me cutlery with a napkin (a rarity) and sparkling water (wow). In short, I am very pleasantly surprised to find such a place in this area!P.s. The prices are reasonable and there is parking!“

“Pros:-Service is always amazing-The chicken is exceptional-Sauces are good plus the variety of the sauces means there's something for everyone.-Pile of tay-toes (your choice of tater tots, French fries, or sweet potato fries) is by far one of the best choices on the menu-Decent drink prices and selection-Great selection of board games or TCG products-Many events to sign up for-Theming and styleCons:Note: these are my subjective experiences/opinions-Parking is pretty abysmal-Smash burgers are pretty thin on the beef, I feel that doubling on the patties could let the beef contend with the other flavors on the burger.-Seating is usually a crapshoot even during the week. Reserving a table is basically the only way to guarantee seating, but even then, it can be pretty rough due to the amount of events that are run even reserving a table can be hard-Noise is almost always a problem, I leave without my voice on most occasions just trying to communicate with my fellow playersWith all the pros and all the cons I still give zulus games a 4 star review. They can't control the parking for the area, and there are paid options around (albeit very expensive for the area) and the free parking is available sometimes. It is a lively game store with amazing style and its a fun place to be. I will be buying most of my product from there, but I don't intend to sit at the tables too much.“

We had the biscuit sandwich and the brunch board to share and they were both good! I only wished that it came with more bread because we ran out pretty quickly. I came a second time for happy hour but was disappointed that their happy hour was pricing more or less as regular time. We got a board for happy hour and had the corona bean & fennel, whipped avo spread, and crispy yam mochi. All were good but I highly rec the corona bean & fennel! This time, my friend asked if we could have more bread to go with our platter and they kinda gave us some. Not sure if that's the norm or if it's because it's happy hour! “I come here a lot because they are open late and serve espresso. I find most of the options on the menu too expensive so I generally avoid them. The main area that needs improvement is the service. Most of the servers are not particularly friendly, and one of them has been plain rude to me. One and only one of them currently working here is nice to me, though there have been good ones in the past who no longer work here. This is after coming here for over a year. And yes, coffee tastes different depending on how nice the person is who makes it for you.“

“This is a place that reminds me of my college years. Probably because it was jammed with UW college students caffeinating before studying. The food menu is limited but what I had was good. The coffee and drinks menu was long and very tasty. I will return.“

“Always love coming here for tea and a scone. Some of the best sweets I’ve ever had and if you get the afternoon tea she will give you SO MUCH food that your entire party will be taking some home with you. Definitely get your moneys worth! The savory options are great too, I still think about how good the tomato soup was there“

“Came for the first time today to try out the vegan Mac and cheese w vegan chorizo. I’m not a vegan however I am abstaining from meat/dairy for Ethiopian orthodox fasting right now and was really craving cheese. I had low hopes for vegan Mac and cheese but was incredibly surprised how creamy/cheesy-flavored theirs was! The vegan chorizo tasted more like ground beef than chorizo but still, it didn't taste like I was eating “fake” ingredients! I highly recommend for vegans and even non-vegans!Vegetarian options: I only had the mac and cheese/chorizo but the menu looks like it accommodates quite a few of their recipes into vegan/vegetarian“

“Checked out the local coffee shop, and try out the ice latte, lash life and sun ship coffee.Personally I feel like lash life is a bit too sweet but the ice latte was super awesome! Sun ship is more like a sour tea coffee with expresso. Both taste great but I will definitely recommend the ice coffee latte!!!! 10/10“

“Only been here a handful of times but the drinks are fantastic. Plain cold brew is on point. Flavor of an iced caffe latte with oat milk was so well balanced. The people working here are always kind and helpful. Do yourself a favor and make the trek here if you’re in the area. There’s lots of cafes in the area that very good, but I think you will NOT be disappointed stopping here.“

“The apple fritter doughnut was light and airy, it was delicious and felt much healthier than the traditional apple fritters which are soaked with oil. In addition to classic flavors they also have fun flavors such as guava mochi and haupia malasada. To top it off the coffee is the cheapest I’ve found at $2.25! Great environment to hang out at as well.“

“Cool local spot for fresh pastries, yummy coffee, and delicious paninis. The chicken panini with sun dried tomatoes on focaccia is excellent, and I also always order a ham and cheese pastry to go when I come here! Sadly there's no Wi-Fi, or else I would come here all the time to get some work done and enjoy the food and ambiance.“
