“Most fun ever! I went to the Music Trivia night and to hear live music the next night, and both nights were amazing experiences. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It reminded me of going to a Cheers bar, where everyone treats you like a friend or neighbor.The music trivia night was a blast, a test of your music memories with no prizes, just bragging rights, so no pressure - just a fun time.The live band was excellent. Good acoustics for a small venue; a nice setup for live music.I am so glad that I found this bar when I was visiting Port Townsend. I didn't order any food, but every dish I saw coming out of the kitchen looked really good, and people raved about their food. I'll definitely eat here on my next visit. This bar will be a favorite stop when I visit Port Townsend.“
“Do not visit Port Townsend without coming to anchor. This legitimately changed my burger-eating life, best burger I’ve ever had. And the french fries… forget about it. Hundred percent. I’ll be back for a burger every time I’m in town. If you don’t want to get an addicted to the food don’t come to this place. I’ll be dreaming of that black bean burger for the rest of my life, every night, forever. Haha no joke. So good. It seriously had no business being that good. You will not regret it!! Go!!!“
“My husband and I actually love this place and stop in every time we are in town. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they allow dogs. Don't get me wrong, dogs are great. Service animals are an understandable and wonderful thing. I have allergies to dogs, though, and it makes it difficult to relax and enjoy great beer and company.The beer is terrific and why we keep stopping in.“
“Stopped here for lunch. The calamari was excellent. Crab cake sandwich was a 4/4. Ahi tuna sandwich was a 5/5.The bread pudding is the best we have had in years. Reminded us of New Orleans.Extremely attentive staff.Port Townsend Red Ale??We will be back.“

“This place is a true GEM! From the warm & welcoming atmosphere, extensive menu with meat & vegan specialities, and friendly quick service…I will 100% be coming back soon! Started by a chef that worked across the country and traveled the world, you can truly see the care put into each dish. We tried the smoked salmon linguine, salmon chowder (amazing!! And award winning), and a flatbread sandwich - everything was absolutely perfect. A casual yet refined dining experience so feel free to come as you are.
